…FLASH FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT THROUGH WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON…
The National Weather Service in Charleston has expanded the
* Flash Flood Watch to include portions of southeast Ohio and
northern West Virginia, including the following areas, in
southeast Ohio, Athens, Jackson OH, Meigs, Morgan, Perry,
Vinton, and Washington. In northern West Virginia, Pleasants,
Tyler, and Wood.
* Through Wednesday afternoon
* Soils across the area are nearly saturated due to previous
rainfall. Additional showers and thunderstorms, some with heavy
rain, are expected to affect the area through Wednesday
* Flash flooding of creeks, streams and low lying areas will be
