On 12 Sep 18 Deputy Schwendeman responded to Belpre Township in reference to a domestic incident.  In speaking with all parties it was determined to be unfounded.

On 12 Sep 18 Deputy Zide met with Harry Stewart in reference to a stolen 1996 Mazda 4 door vehicle. This case remains under investigation.

On 13 Sep 18 Deputy Jones completed a private property accident report for Ronald R. Warner, 2800 Beach Drive, Belpre, OH, where his 2003 Ford F350 was struck by an unknown individual.  The vehicle received moderate damage.  This case remains under investigation.

On 13 Sep 18 Deputy Jones met with a female subject in reference to Rodney Barnes threatening to do her harm.  A summons is being requested for Rodney Dale Barnes, age 21, 3002 Milltown Road, Reno, Ohio, on a charge of menacing.

On  14 Sep 18 Deputy McKee along with the Warren and Oak Grove Volunteer Fire Departments responded to the residence of Donald L. Plaugher, 985 Silver Globe Road, Marietta, to a report of an ATV and camper on fire.  Both items were a total loss.  This case remains under investigation.

On 14 Sep 18 Lt. Augenstein responded to Turn 10 Wholesale, Millcreek Road, Marietta, in reference to vehicle(s) tearing up the driveway/parking area.  This case remains under investigation.

On 14 Sep 18 Cory E. Meeks was brought into the Washington County Jail by the Marietta Police Department.  Once Meeks was in the hallway he was asked if he had anything illegal on him, or in him, that would be considered contraband.  Meeks stated he did not. Meeks was asked a second time if he had anything on him that was illegal, due to a possible felony conveyance charge.  Meeks again stated no that he did not want a felony charge.   As Deputy White was patting down Meeks two small pills were located in a front pocket. Meeks was asked what the pills were, and he stated probably clonopin.   Deputy White filed charges of conveyance into a detention facility, a 3rd degree felony, on Cory Everett Meeks, age 33, 20125 SR 550, Marietta, Ohio.

On 18 Sep 18 Lt. Hunter received information of an active warrant for failure to appear on a grand larceny charge in Wood County, WV, for Jeffrey D. Dugan, 2500 Lincoln Avenue, Parkersburg, WV.   Information on the warrant for Jeffrey David Dugan, age 35, was compared to information received in the booking process at the County Jail and was found to be a match.  Charges of being a fugitive from justice were filed on Dugan through Marietta Municipal Court.

The following subjects were processed into the Washington County Jail between Tuesday 18 Sep 18 and Wednesday 19 Sep 18:

Stephen Ray Neff, age 44, Crock Road, Zanesville, OH, on a warrant for 2 counts driving under the influence of alcohol, felonies

Brian Keith Petrie, age 32, 1610 Salor Road, Vinton, OH, criminal trespassing, a misdemeanor.

Joseph Scott Antill, age 41, 877 Dodd Run Road, Marietta, OH, probation violation, a misdemeanor.

Jerome Peterson, age 58, 1012 Peerless Avenue, Akron, OH, consuming in a motor vehicle, a misdemeanor.

Alexa Morgan Harvey, age 23, 11722 SR 555, Cutler, OH, probation violation, a misdemeanor.

There are currently 29 female inmates and 92 male inmates being housed in the Washington County Jail.
