On 13 Sep 18 Deputy H Tornes requested a summons be issued for a Brandy M. Boley, age 37, 1007 Orchard Street, Apt. 2,  Marietta, OH, on a charge of failing to register a dangerous dog.  On 3 Jul 18 Deputy Tornes responded to 225 Kenwood Avenue, Marietta in reference to Boley’s dog running into a neighbor’s yard, biting the neighbor on the arm, and attempting to attack the neighbor’s dog. Boley’s dog was deemed dangerous due to this incident.  On 13 Jul 18 the designation was final and permanent, which gave Boley 30 days to comply with the standards of this designation and to have the dog properly registered.  A check was made through the Washington County Auditor’s Office to confirm the registration. On 12 Sep 18 contact was made with Boley to determine why she failed to properly register her dog as dangerous.   Boley advised that she had forgotten.

On 16 Sep18 Sgt. Reeder and Deputy McConnell responded to 580 Ridgewood Blvd., Belpre, OH.  Nicholas Proscia reported his live-in girlfriend, Nicole Irvine, pushed him down the stairs and caused injury. Proscia stated they were out the previous night and this morning Irvine wanted him to leave.  After completing the investigation Nicole E. Irvine, age 46, 580 Ridgewood Blvd., Belpre, was placed under arrest for domestic violence and transported to the Washington County Jail for processing.

On 16 Sep 18 Sgt. Parks was dispatched to the Pit Stop, 3355 State Route 821, Marietta, OH,  in reference to a male subject causing a disturbance.  Sgt. Parks met with Brian K. Petrie who was standing outside the store.  Petrie seemed somewhat confused, and was taking a long time to answer questions.  Petrie stated he was walking from Jackson County, OH to Cleveland, OH, to meet a relative. A check with the clerk revealed Petrie ran from the interstate area flailing his arms, then digging in the trash.  The actions of Petrie scared customers coming to the business.  Petrie advised another Deputy that he did not have an uncle in Cleveland and continued acting confused.  Brian Keith Petrie, age 32, homeless, was placed under arrest for disorderly conduct and transported to the Washington County Jail.

Dustin Allen Atkinson, age 32, 820 Belrock Avenue, Belpre, OH, nonsupport of dependents.

Hunter Triphers Piatt, age 24, 749 Mary Street, Belpre, OH, disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor.

Shannon Lynn Mercer, age 42, 2311 Pike Street, #9, Parkersburg, WV, possession of drug abuse instruments, a misdemeanor, and possession of drugs, a felony.

Thomas William Gaughan, age 32, 1017 Lynn Street, Parkersburg, WV, 2 counts obstructing official business, misdemeanors, breaking and entering and parole violation, felonies.

Nicole Elaine Irvine, age 46, 580 Ridgewood Blvd., Belpre, OH, domestic violence, a misdemeanor.

Nick Lee Losey Jr., age 25, 410 Robinson Hill Road, Marietta, OH, parole violation, a felony.

Brian Keith Petrie, age 32, homeless, disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor.

There are currently 31 female inmates and 99 male inmates being housed in the Washington County Jail.
