The National Weather Service in Charleston West Virginia has issued a

* Flood Warning for…
Washington County in southeastern Ohio…

* Until 130 PM EDT.

* At 1026 AM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
that heavy rain was falling over the area. The heavy rain may
cause flooding. Over one inch of rain has already fallen with an
additional one half inch possible.

* Some locations that may experience flooding include…
Marietta, Belpre, Beverly, Williamstown, Belmont, Newport, Lowell,
Macksburg, Lower Salem, Little Hocking, Fleming, Bartlett and
Devola.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

A Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring. All
interested parties should take necessary precautions immediately.
