On 27 Aug 18 Deputy Parks responded to Tri County Water, Waterford, Oho, to recover a counterfeit bill that was passed at that location. This case remains under investigation.
On 28 Aug 18 Lt. Augenstein and Deputy Johnson responded to 1370 Patten Mills Road, Cutler, to a domestic complaint. Jenna Sheets reported she and Justin Edwards were involved in an argument which led to Edwards grabbing her by the throat. Deputies met with Sheets who stated that after Edwards grabbed her by the throat she scratched him on the face, attempting to get away from him. Edwards gave a similar account of what had occurred. Justin Eugene Edwards, age 28, 1420 Patten Mills Road, Cutler, Ohio, was placed under arrest for domestic violence and transported to the Washington County Jail.
On 28 Aug 18 Deputy Parks met with Angel Granger, 2342 Sealy Ridge Road, Vincent, in reference to a stolen cell phone and tablet. This case remains under investigation.
On 28 Aug 18 Lt. Augenstein responded to the Marathon, Arrowhead Road, Little Hocking, to a report of 11 gallons of fuel being pumped and not paid for. This case remains under investigation.
On 30 Aug 18 Deputy Carr began an investigation in reference to threats made. After speaking with all parties involved it was determined to be unfounded. Case closed.
On 31 Aug 18 Sgt. Parks assisted the US Forest Services in Grandview Township.
On 31 Aug 18 Sgt. Parks responded along with the Little Muskingum Volunteer Fire Department to an unresponsive male in Lawrence Township.
On 31 Aug 18 Lt. Hornbeck responded to Dalzell Road, Whipple, in reference to Steven Hendershot continuing to have a fence in disrepair that allows his cows to roam. The cows travel across the property of another neighbor and onto another subject’s property and this is an ongoing occurrence. On 26 Aug 18 Deputies responded to the farm and issued a warning to a farm hand in reference to the cows roaming the area. A summons is being requested for Steven S. Hendershot, age 59, 7120 Dalzell Road, Whipple, for animals running at large.
On 1 Sep 18 Sgt. Parks completed a private property accident report where Floyd R. Duff, Pleasant Ridge Road, Marietta, Ohio, was riding an ATV when he rolled the ATV onto himself.
On 1 Sep 18 Sgt. Parks was dispatched to Adams Township in reference to a possible domestic violence incident. In speaking with all parties it was determined to be unfounded.
On 1 Sep 18 Deputy Johnson responded to Independence Township in reference to a four wheeler accident.
On 1 Sep 17 Deputy McConnell responded to Decatur Township along with the Dunham and Little Hocking Volunteer Fire departments to a tractor fire.
On 1 Sep 17 Deputy McConnell met with Molly Vangorden, Belpre, Ohio, who reported her vehicle back glass was broken. This case remains under investigation.
On 2 Sep 17 Deputy Metts met with Miller Supply personnel in reference to a John Deere dozer being removed from the business at 26270 State Route 7, Marietta, Ohio. This case remains under investigation.
On 2 Sep 17 Deputy Metts responded to Par Mar Store 7, 17785 State Route 7, Marietta, to a theft of a lighter and sunglasses. This case remains under investigation.
On 2 Sep 17 Deputy Johnson responded to Wildwood Lake Raceway, Decatur Township in reference to a crash into a tree at that location.
On 2 Sep 18 Sgt. Reeder responded to Watertown Township to a report of a burglary. After completing the investigation it was determined to be unfounded. Case closed.
On 2 Sep 18 Sgt. Reeder issued a stop light/sign violation citation to Michayla Renee Lupardus, 3184 Tick Ridge Road, Vincent, Ohio.
On 2 Sep 18 Deputy Jones was working the Washington County Fair detail when a food vendor reported receiving three counterfeit bills. This case remains under investigation.
On 3 Sep 18 Deputy Zide along with the Fearing Volunteer Fire Departemtn responded to 1020 Caywood Road, Marietta, to a vehicle fire.
On 3 Sep 18 a juvenile left the Washington County Juvenile Center. The juvenile was located and faces delinquency charges in Juvenile Court. (1117)
