An investigation by Agents of the Ohio Organized Crimes Investigations Commission, Washington Morgan Noble Major Crimes Task Force resulted in two arrests.

On 31 Aug 18 Agents executed a search warrant at 710 Front Street, Apartment 6, Marietta, Ohio.  Entry was made into the apartment and contact was made with Darren Edwards.  Edwards agreed to speak with Agents and admitted to being a crack cocaine, marijuana and methamphetamine user.

Agents located 84.42 grams of methamphetamine (field tested positive for methamphetamine) and a small amount of  “crack” cocaine, marijuana, a loaded Smith & Wesson Bodyguard .380 caliber handgun and various other paraphernalia.

Addition members of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and Marietta Police Department executed a search warrant at 314 Lancaster Street, Marietta, Ohio.  Agents met with Santravis Donte Cobb Sr. and  located approximately $3,000.00, 1 oz. of marijuana, and cell phones.

Santravis Donte Cobb Sr., age 38, 314 Lancaster Street, Apt. B, Marietta, Ohio, was placed under arrest on a charge of conspiracy to drug trafficking, a 2nd degree felony.

Darren Michael Edwards, age 51, 710 Front Street, Apt. 6, Marietta, Ohio, was placed under arrest on a charge of trafficking of methamphetamine, a 2nd degree felony, and weapons under disabilities, a 3rd degree felony.

The Washington Morgan Noble Major Crimes Task Force is part of Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine’s Organized Crime Investigation Commission and is comprised of representatives of Post 84 of the Ohio State Highway Patrol; Washington, Morgan and Noble County Sheriff’s Offices; the Marietta, Belpre and McConnelsville Police Departments; and the Washington, Morgan and Noble County Prosecutor’s Office.
