On 9 Aug 18 Deputy Metts and Sgt. Parks responded to 132 Washington Street, Waterford, Ohio, to meet with Miranda White regarding a domestic violence incident that occurred the previous night at 88 High Avenue, Waterford.
Falcon Owens had become angry with White due to their young child crying and he was unable to. White reports she was lying with the child and Owens struck her in the face then threw her on the floor and dragged her around. White states Owens also threatened to stab her. It was believed that Owens was at 88 High Avenue, Waterford.
Contact was made with property owners who gave permission to search the residence for Owens. The residence was locked and it was believed that Owens was barricaded inside, with access to firearms. The Washington County Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team arrived at the scene and made entry into the residence, however Owens was not located. A patrol of the area did not locate Owens.
On 10 Aug 18 at approximately 0330 hrs. dispatch was advised that Owens was back home. Lt. Hornbeck and Deputy Metts responded and located Owens locked inside a bedroom, refusing to come out after being ordered numerous times. Entry was gained into the room and Falcon Ross Owens, age 24, 88 High Avenue, Waterford, Ohio, was placed under arrest for aggravated menacing and domestic violence. Owens was transported to the Washington County Jail for processing.
