On 6 Jun 18 Deputy Hall responded to Warren Township to a possible domestic incident.  After speaking with all individuals, Deputy Hall will be filing delinquent charges on a juvenile though Washington County Juvenile Court.

On 6 Jun 18 Deputy Jones began an investigation regarding a resident being advised by a computer support company that they were a “lifetime” customer for computer services.  The subjects requested funds through Walmart be forwarded to them.  This is not legitimate and this investigation in continuing.

On 7 Jun 18 Deputy Carr responded to Marietta Township to a possible domestic incident.  In speaking with all parties it was determined to be unfounded.  Case is marked closed.

On 8 Jun 18 Deputy A. McConnell completed a traffic crash report where Cody Hacker, Burnsville, WV, was operating a 2016 Fleetwood truck northbound on I77 when he hydroplaned and lost control, striking an ODOT sign and landing in a ditch.

On 8 Jun 18 Sgt. McGilton received a complaint of Amanda Gilbert’s two black lab mixed breed dogs running loose from her residence in Little Hocking, Ohio.  Contact with made with Amanda Gilbert who admitted the dogs run loose.  Amanda was asked if the dogs were currently restrained and she advised they were not.  Sgt. McGilton informed Amanda of the complaint against her and she advised she could not keep the dogs restrained.  Amanda stated the dogs dug out of their kennel and when she tied them out, they slipped their collars.  Sgt. McGilton requested a summons be issued to Amanda Gilbert, age 37, 504 Schoolhouse Road, Little Hocking, Ohio, for failing to restrain her dog.

On 8 Jun 18 Deputy Parks observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation on State Route 60.  A traffic stop was conducted and contact with the driver, Sierra Long, was made.  Deputy Parks detected an odor of an intoxicating beverage on/or near Long’s person.  Long gave a consent to search in which alcoholic beverages were located.  .   All occupants were under the age of 21 and submitted to testing.  Sierra Dallas Long, age 19, 391 Echo Valley Road, Waterford, Ohio, and Cylus Boyd Reynolds, age 19, 2357 Plum Run Road, Waterford, Ohio, were placed under arrest for underage consumption and transported to the Washington County Jail for processing.

On 10 Jun 18 a dog belonging to Steven Pinkerman, 3011 Barth Road, Belpre, Ohio, ran loose from the residence. The dog went onto a neighbor’s property.  An attempt was made to contact Pinkerman, with no success. Sgt. McGilton requested a summon be issued to Steven Pinkerman, age 49, 3011 Barth Road, Belpre, Ohio, for failing to restrain his dog.

On 11 Jun 18 Sgt. McGilton conducted follow up checks through the Washington County Auditor’s Office and found that Ashley Roark had not registered her dog for 2018.  Sgt. McGilton made contact with Roark who stated she had forgotten again.  Sgt. McGilton requested a summons be issued to Ashley Roark, age 29, 17485 SR 555, Cutler, Ohio, for failing to register her dog.
