WCSO NEWS RELEASES FOR 11 MAY 18
On 10 May 18 Deputy Hall observed vehicle at the Park and Ride located at US 50 @ Newbury Road, Belpre Township. A male subject seated in the vehicle appeared to be asleep or passed out. Deputy Hall was able to wake the subject and asked him for identification. As the male reached for his wallet he advised he was a CCW holder and had a loaded firearm on the seat with his wallet. The male was identified as Kevin E. Holter. A strong odor of an alcoholic beverage was detected on his person. Kevin agreed to perform field sobriety test, which he did poorly on. Deputy Hall placed Kevin Emery Holter, age 34, 8115 Federal Road, Cutler, Ohio, under arrest for having weapons while intoxicated and physical control of a motor vehicle. Kevin was transported to the Washington County Jail where he tested .112.
On 10 May 18 Deputy H. Tornes responded to 186 Orchard Drive, Little Hocking, in reference Sara Thomas failing to restrain two dogs. A summons is being requested for Thomas for failing to restrain and failing to register her dog.
On/or about 10 May 10 18 Deputy H. Tornes responded to 112 Mill Street, Waterford, in reference to Cyril Pletcher failing to register his dog. A summons is being requested for Pletcher for failure to register.
On 11 May 18 Deputy Hall responded to 430 Spears Hill Road, Stockport, in reference to Dalton Burt and Caitlin Cordell fighting. A summons is being requested for Caitlin Marie Cordell, age 24, and Dalton Lee Burt, age 25, for disorderly conduct by fighting.

Anita Jane Pauley, age 26, 9645 State Route 821, Lower Salem, Ohio, 18 months Marysville, theft from an elderly person, F3.
The following subjects were processed into the Washington County Jail Thursday 10 May 18 and Friday 11 May 18:
Mark Anthony Hart, age 27, 434 Douglas Avenue, Marietta, Ohio, for violation of protection order or consent agreement, misdemeanor.
James Nemo Lee Croston, age 41, 302 Lancaster Street, Marietta, Ohio, for driving under suspension and driving under financial responsibility law suspension or cancellation, misdemeanors.
Thomas William Gaughan, age 31, Putnam Place Apartments, Apt. 66, Marietta, Ohio, for probation violation, misdemeanor.
There are currently 28 female inmates and 95 male inmates being housed in the Washington County Jail.
