On 22 Apr 18 Deputy Schwendeman responded to the intersection of State Route 7 and Bramblewood Heights Road, Marietta, in reference 911 calls from a male subject at that location. Timothy Massey was located standing in the intersection and an odor of an alcoholic beverage was detected on his person. Massey stated he had been riding in a vehicle with an intoxicated driver and he did not want to get into a crash, so he asked to be let out of the vehicle. Massey stated he called 911 because he was trying to get back to Parkersburg. Timothy Matthew Massey, age 30, 1600 Knotts Avenue, Apt. 14, Parkersburg, WV, was placed under arrest for disorderly conduct by intoxication and transported to the Washington County Jail.
On 22 Apr 18 Deputy Brown was working at the Washington County Jail and responded to an assault complaint. Deputy Brown was able to observe Peter Hafner approach Aaron Huseman and a short time later Hafner struck Huseman on the side of the face. After completing the investigation Peter G. Hafner, 240 Hillcrest Drive, Marietta, Ohio, was advised that he would be charged with assault.
On 22 Apr 18 Deputy Hall and Sgt. Johnson responded to 753 Lowell Hill Road, Lowell, Ohio, to a domestic violence situation. Lloyd Jeffers stated he lives with his ex-wife, Crystal Clifton Jeffers, at this address. Lloyd states they had been drinking and began arguing. Lloyd states he left the residence in which his wife got into a vehicle and started driving all around the yard and even attempted to strike him at one time in his neighbor’s yard. Crystal also drove the truck into Lloyd’s car, exited the truck and smashed the windshield of the car. Other witnesses were interviewed giving the same account of the activity. Deputy Hall requested a warrant for Crystal Jeffers on a charge of felonious assault and criminal damaging. The warrant was issued and Crystal Elaine Jeffers, age 44, was arrested on 23 Apr 18 and processed into the Washington County Jail.
The following subjects were processed into the Washington County Jail between Monday 23 Apr 18 and Tuesday 24 Apr 18:
Glennae Cinquess Brooks, age 25, 1071 Berwin Street, Akron, Ohio, on a warrant for driving under suspension, a misdemeanor, and aggravated burglary.
Crystal Elaine Jeffers, age 44, 753 Lowell Hill Road, Lowell, Ohio, on warrants for felonious assault, a felony, domestic violence and criminal damaging, both misdemeanors.
There are currently 30 female inmates and 99 male inmates being housed in the Washington County Jail.
