On 6 Apr 18 Deputy Hall began an investigation into an unruly juvenile. Charges of unruly juvenile will be filed in Washington County Juvenile Court.
On 7 Apr 18 Deputy A. McConnell issued a citation for driving under suspension to Nathan L. Steele, 505 Wynncrest Drive, Marietta, Ohio.
Om 7 Apr 18 Sgt. Johnson began an investigation in reference to domestic violence. After speaking with all parties it was determined to be unfounded. Case closed.
On 7 Apr 18 Deputy Zide observed a driver in a Toyota sedan commit a traffic violation. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver was identified as Madison LaRue. After speaking with Deputy Zide, LaRue admitted to smoking marijuana earlier in the day and advised Deputy Zide he could search the car. A baggie of marijuana, reportedly belonging to LaRue was located. Ashley Gens, another occupant, reported the small marijuana blunt belonged to her. A summons for possession of a controlled substance will be requested for Ashley N. Gens, age 20, 71 Anvill Road, Waverly, WV, and LaRue, age 20, 147 Saddle Lane, Waverly, WV, through Marietta Municipal Court.
On 7 Apr 18 Captain Rhodes issued a citation to Angelia L. Dowler, 123 Maple Street, Belpre, OH, and Shane A. Griffon, 49567 Dangel Lane, Sardis, OH, for seat belt violation.
The following subjects were processed into the Washington County Jail Monday 9 Apr 18 and Tuesday 10 Apr 18:
Michelle Denay Cyrus, age 32, 2713 Norwood Avenue, Parkersburg, WV, probation violation, a misdemeanor.
Shannon Scott Hines, age 29, 1220 Brackenridge Road, Vincent, OH, on a warrant for breaking and entering, a felony.
Blake Mackenzie Keel, age 25, 1666 School House Road, Little Hocking, OH, on a warrant for breach of recognizance, criminal damaging, both misdemeanors, and burglary, a felony.
There are currently 22 female inmates and 100 male inmates being housed in the Washington County Jail.
