On 28 Mar 18 Sgt. McGilton was called to Fairfield Township in reference to a cat being killed by two dogs running loose. Dog owners Brandon Mash, age 31, 11483 SR 555, Cutler, Ohio and Kim Crum, age 49, 11612 SR 555, Cutler, Ohio were both cited by Sgt. McGilton through Marietta Municipal Court for failing to restrain their dogs.
On 28 Mar 18 Deputy McKee responded to a report of domestic violence at 290 Everson Road, Belpre, Ohio, between Katlyn Kreps and James Everson. Everson states he became angry at Kreps and when she put her hands up he shoved her. James Ryan Everson, age 25, was placed under arrest for domestic violence and transported to the Washington County Jail for processing.
On 29 Mar 18 Deputy Carr responded to Grandview Township to a possible domestic incident. In speaking with all parties this was determined to be unfounded.
On 29 Mar 19 Deputy Schwendeman began an investigation into a possible menacing complaint. In speaking with all parties it was determined to be unfounded.
On 29 Mar 18 Jesse G. Malson, 902 Park Avenue, New Matamoras, reports a vehicle entered by force and items removed while parked at a location off of State Route 7. This case remains under investigation. (790)
On 29 Mar 18 Lt. Gherke responded to a possible domestic in Watertown Township. In speaking with all parties it was determined to be unfounded. Case closed.
On 29 Mar 18 Deputy Brown while working the Washington County Jail responded to an assault complaint. Nathan Sprague states that Marcus Kimbrough approached him and began smacking him in the face several times. Sprague stated he tried to kick at Kimbrough to get him away but never actually struck Kimbrough. Marks to Sprague’s face and next were observed, consistent with his account of events. Kimbrough was advised of his Miranda Rights and stated that he was angry with Sprague due to a fight from several years ago. Kimbrough stated he did slap Sprague multiple times as well as punch him at least one time. Deputy Brown filed charges of assault on Marcus Maurice Kimbrough, age 29, 103 Woodcrest Lane, Marietta, Ohio.
On 30 Mar 18 Deputy A. McConnell issued a citation for expired plates to Cynthia A. Nutter, 1148 Greens Run Road, St. Mary’s, WV.
On 30 Mar 18 Deputy A. McConnell began an investigation into a possible domestic incident in Marietta Township. After speaking with all parties it was determined to be unfounded.

Deangelo Lynn Thompson, age 40, 36291 Pullins Hill Road, Middleport, Ohio, for driving under suspension, a misdemeanor.
Peter Grant Hafner, age 28, 240 Hillcrest Drive, Apt. 3, Marietta, Ohio, for driving under suspension, a misdemeanor.
Tyler Robert Rowley, age 19, 821 Cairns Run Road, Lowell, Ohio, for unauthorized use of motor vehicle, a misdemeanor.
Teresa Lynn Mugrage, age 50, 521 Barclay Street, Apt. Lot 15, Belpre, Ohio, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor.
Christopher Corey Griffin, age 34, 52031 Rye Road, Reedsville, Ohio, for parole violation, a felony and obstructing official business and resisting arrest, both misdemeanors.
Lisa Lee Runnion, age 22, 3300 Warren Chapel Road, Marietta, Ohio, for assault, breach of recognizance, possession of drugs and possession of heroin, all felonies and obstructing official business, a misdemeanor.
Joseph Jack Burdette, II, age 39, 674 E. Maple Street, Davisville, WV, for receiving stolen property, a felony.
Kylie Sue Sealey, age 19, 1656 Sealey Ridge Road, Vincent, Ohio, for theft and possession criminal tools, both felonies and fictitious plates, a misdemeanor.
Leonard Dale Todd, age 20, 1656 Sealey Road, Vincent, Ohio, for theft and possession criminal tools, both felonies and fictitious plates, a misdemeanor.
There are currently 28 female inmates and 103 male inmates being housed in the Washington County Jail.
