The National Weather Service in Charleston West Virginia has extended
the

* Flood Warning for…
North central Washington County in southeastern Ohio…

* Until 1000 AM EDT

* At 607 AM EDT, Duck Creek was rising, was past action stage, and
is expected to go into minor flood stage at Macksburg and Whipple.
Other points along the creek may go into minor flood as well.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Marietta, Williamstown, Macksburg and Lower Salem.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
roads. Find an alternate route.

Please report flooding to the National Weather Service by calling
toll free, 800 401 9535, when you can do so safely.
