On 6 Mar 18 Deputy Hall began an investigation in Warren Township regarding a domestic violence incident. In speaking with all parties involved it was determined to be unfounded. Case is closed.
On 7 Mar 18 Deputy J McConnell along with the Oak Grove Volunteer Fire Department responded to a report of an unresponsive female.
On 7 Mar 18 Deputy J McConnell began an investigation in Belpre Township regarding a domestic violence incident. In speaking with all parties involved it was determined to be unfounded. Case is closed.
On 7 Mar 18 Deputy Metts began an investigation in Marietta Township regarding a domestic violence incident. In speaking with all parties involved it was determined to be unfounded. Case is closed.
On 7 Mar 18 Deputy Johnson responded to 2335 Newbury Road, Belpre Township, to assist a male subject who called 911, without an emergency. Steven Simon was at the home and advised he was intoxicated. Simon was asked why he had called 911, he stated he was concerned for his parents. When asked, the parents stated there was no emergency. Simon was advised of the proper use of the 911 system, with him stating it wouldn’t happen again. Deputy Johnson then cleared the scene and approximately 10 minutes later another 911 call was received from Simon. Deputy Johnson responded to the scene and upon finding no emergency with the residents Steven F. Simon, age 42, 2335 Newbury Road, Little Hocking, was placed under arrest for disorderly conduct by intoxication and transported to the Washington County Jail. Simon tested .182 BAC upon arrival at the Jail.
On 8 Mar 18 Deputy Parks completed a private property crash report for Jason R. Foley, Coolville, who was delivering fuel to Byers Marathon on State Route 7, Marietta when he backed into a 2016 Chevrolet truck driven by Phillip T. Collins, Harrisville, WV. Collins’ vehicle received moderate to heavy damage while the Foley vehicle received minimal damage. No injuries were reported.
On 8 Mar 18 Deputy Parks began an investigation into a theft/scam a Washington County resident had become involved in. This case remains under investigation.
On 8 Mar 18 Sgt. Parks began a menacing investigation. Upon reviewing the information provided this case was marked as unfounded.
On 8 Mar 18 Deputy Johnson began an investigation in Fairfield Township regarding a domestic violence incident. In speaking with all parties involved it was determined to be unfounded. Case is closed.
On 8 Mar 18 Deputy Johnson responded to 99 Linton Hill Road, Coolville, to a reported domestic violence incident. Charmika Young reported her live in boyfriend, Mark Dunn, had assaulted her by punching her multiple times in the face and ribs. The Little Hocking Volunteer Fire Department Squad responded and transported Young for precautions. In speaking with Mark William Dunn, age 65, it was determined to place him under arrest and transport him to the Washington County Jail on a charge of domestic violence.
On 9 Mar 18 Traci Martin reported Isaac Martin had assaulted her at their residence located at 106 Meadowcrest Lane, Little Hocking, Ohio. While Traci was on the phone with dispatch, Isaac forcefully took the phone from her and told the dispatcher he would wait at the above stated residence until an officer arrived. Upon Deputy McKee arriving Isaac had fled the scene. Traci explained Isaac had returned home and the two had argued. Traci reports being in a physical altercation in which Isaac struck her with his fist. After several attempts to locate Isaac he finally was arrested on 11 Mar 18 for domestic violence and transported to the Washington County Jail.

Wesley Orland Roberts, age 25, 2070 Roberts Road, Amesville, Ohio, two counts theft, two counts of safe cracking, three counts of breaking and entering, possession of criminal tools, tampering with evidence and carrying concealed weapon; 360 days County Jail.
Joey Dean Brooks, age 29, 1776 Briggs Hill Road, Belpre, Ohio, burglary and felonious assault; 4 years Orient.

Cory Allen Wagner, age 30, 205 Second Street, Beverly, Ohio, for disorderly conduct.

Roger Dale Logston, Jr., age 44, 710 Belrock Ave., Apt. 119, Belpre, Ohio, for domestic violence.

Chelsie Lynn Smith, age 27, 1111 Colonial Drive, Marietta, Ohio, for driving while under the influence, left of center and improper lane usage.
