Ohio Organized Crime Investigations Commission

Special News Release 9 Mar 18

 An investigation by Agents of the Ohio Organized Crimes Investigations Commission, Washington Morgan Noble Major Crimes Task Force resulted in three arrests.

On 8 Mar 18 Agents with the Major Crimes Task Force executed a search warrant at 516 Smith Street, Marietta, Ohio.  Upon executing the warrant Agents located Jerald Little.  During a search, James T. Hasely was found in an upstairs bedroom unresponsive.  Agents utilized four 2 mg of Naloxone and performed CPR on Hasely. During the search of the room, Agents located numerous syringes, approximately .50 grams of methamphetamine, 1 ½ Suboxone strips, numerous glass smoking pipes and other drug paraphernalia.

Agents also located Noah Gage Correll attempting to walk away from a camper located in the yard of the residence. Correll was found to be in possession of a locked plastic box which contained, several syringes, multiple 1 inch plastic baggies, a glass smoking pipe, cotton filters, two spoons, a 1”x1” green plastic baggie containing approximately .50 grams of suspected Methamphetamine, and a 1”x1” clear plastic baggie with approximately .21 grams of methamphetamine.

Agents located two juvenile children in the residence during the search.

While being questioned, Little admitted the house located at 516 Smith Street was his and he was aware of individuals using the house to use and sell drugs, however felt he could not stop his visitor’s behaviors.

Jerold Lee Little, age 65, 516 Smith Street, Marietta, Ohio, was arrested and transported to the Washington County Jail for permitting drug abuse, a 5th degree felony. Little and Correll appeared in Marietta Municipal Court earlier this morning. Little was released on a PR bond and Correll’s bond was set at $5000.00.

Noah Gage Correll, age 35, 516 Smith Street, Marietta, Ohio, was arrested and transported to the Washington County Jail for trafficking in methamphetamine within the vicinity of a juvenile, a 3rd degree felony.

A warrant was requested for James Travis Hasley, age 38, 516 Smith Street, Marietta, Ohio, for possession of methamphetamine, a 5th degree felony.

The Washington Morgan Noble Major Crimes Task Force is part of Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine’s Organized Crime Investigation Commission and is comprised of representatives of Post 84 of the Ohio State Highway Patrol; Washington, Morgan and Noble County Sheriff’s Offices; the Marietta, Belpre and McConnelsville Police Departments; and the Washington, Morgan and Noble County Prosecutor’s Office.
