On 19 Feb 18 Deputy Johnson began an investigation in reference to identity fraud. This case remains under investigation.
On 19 Feb 18 Andrea Pope, Sardis, Ohio, reported a 2001 Chevrolet Malibu stolen from Grandview Hill Road, New Matamoras. This case remains under investigation. (953)
On 19 Feb 18 Carla Jean Baxter, age 57, 220 Meigs Street, Marietta, Ohio, was brought to the Washington County Jail on charges of disrupting public service. During the intake process Baxter was asked if she had anything illegal in per possession. Baxter advised no, however during the pad down 3 Lidocaine patches marked RX were located concealed inside her pants leg. Deputy Martin filed charges for illegal conveyance of drugs onto the grounds of a detention facility were filed on Baxter through Marietta Municipal Court.
On 20 Feb 18 Mary A. Sidell, 817 Grandview Avenue, New Matamoras, Ohio, reported her home entered and items to include currency, clothing, electronics, tools, food, along with other items, removed. This case remains under investigation. (1104)
On 20 Feb 18 Deputy Zide began an investigation into a possible assault in Marietta Township. After speaking with all parties it was determined to be unfounded.
On 21 Feb 18 Deputies along with the Warren Volunteer Fire Department Squad responded to Bender Road to a report of an unresponsive subject. (1303)
On 21 Feb 18 Deputy Parks was dispatched to 21 Stony Run Road, Beverly, Beverly, Ohio. Deputy Parks met with Decoda Z. Keys who sated he had engaged in a verbal argument with a relative. Keys admitted to consuming alcohol and at one point had obtained a firearm. Decoda Zane Keys, age 23, 21 Stony Run Road, Beverly, was placed under arrest for having weapons while intoxicated and was transported to the Washington County Jail for processing.
