On 1 Feb 18 Jamie Barton, 65 Oregon Drive, Parkersburg, WV, reported cash missing from her vehicle while parked in Washington County, Ohio.
On 1 Feb 18 Deputy Hall observed Chelsea Cordray at the Dollar General, 10200 State Route 60, Lowell, Ohio. Deputy Hall advised an active warrant was on file for misdemeanor theft on Cordray. The registration was checked on the vehicle Cordray was a passenger in finding it registered to Jerry Grose, 405 East Branch Road, Lowell, Ohio. Dispatch advised there was an active temporary protection order between Cordray and Grose and Cordray was the protected person in this case. Deputy Jones located Grose at the Dollar General and asked him if he drove Cordray to Dollar General in which he replied, “yes, I did.” A summons is being requested for Jerry Wayne Grose, age 48, due to him knowingly violating the temporary protection order.
On 2 Feb 18 Deputy A. McConnell responded to 125 CR 9, Apt. 3C, Marietta, in reference to Sandy Farley reporting her son, Fredrick McKitrick, broke into her apartment and stole items belonging to her and Joseph McKitrick two different times throughout the night. McKitrick has also been banned from the property. A warrant is being requested through Marietta Municipal Court for Frederick Gale McKitrick, age 35, 3010 Burnett Road, Cutler, Ohio, on a charge of 2 counts of burglary and 2 counts of criminal trespassing.
On 2 Feb 18 Kelly Cunningham, 130 Oak Drive, Little Hocking, reported her Subaru Forester stolen from her driveway. This case remains under investigation. (1303)

On 2 Feb 18 Deputy J. McConnell was dispatched to the Barlow Fairgrounds, Barlow, to check on 2 suspicious vehicles. One subject exited the vehicle and a strong odor of marijuana was detected. The subject was asked if there was any marijuana in the vehicle. The subject stated the vehicle was not his, and he did not know if there was or not. Two passengers were asked who the vehicle belonged to with Emma Muir stating it was hers. Muir was asked about marijuana in the vehicle and she advised there was and it was hers. Another passenger was asked if there was any marijuana in the area he was seated and he stated there was. As Deputy McConnell was about to search the vehicle Muir was seen discarding something and when asked reported it was a set of digital scales. Numerous items to include brass knuckles, white powder, razor blades and plastic baggies were located inside the vehicle and taken into evidence. Emma Rose Muir, age 21, 611 Daugherty Road, Stockport, OH, was placed under arrest and charged with tampering with evidence, carrying a concealed weapon and possession of marijuana, and was transported to the Washington County Jail for processing.
On 2 Feb 18 Deputy L. Parks arrested Blake M. Keel on an active warrant. Keel was transported to the Washington County Jail for processing and upon conducting a pat down at the jail Deputy Farrell located a clear plastic baggie with a brown powdery substance inside. Blake M. Keel, age 25, 1666 School House Road, Little Hocking, OH, was charged with possession of drugs and conveyance into a detention facility, both felonies.
On 3 Feb 18 Deputy Johnson responded to 1114 Walsh Road, Vincent, Ohio for a reported domestic violence incident. Mayford Miller was involved in an altercation with his stepson, Zachary Schoolcraft. Schoolcraft reportedly yelled at the younger children and was confronted by Miller. Mayford Lee Miller, age 59, 1114 Walsh Road, Vincent, was placed under arrest for domestic violence and transported to the Washington County Jail for processing.
On 3 Feb 18 Deputy Metts along with the Devola Volunteer Fire Department responded to Masonic Park Road, Marietta, to a vehicle fully engulfed in fire. The owner of the 2012 Dodge Ram, Blake Elliott, stated there were no issues with the vehicle. The vehicle was a total loss.
On 4 Feb 18 at approximately 0037 hours Deputy Parks was dispatched to 200 Pennock Drive, Lot 12, Beverly, Ohio, in regards to Randall W. Delancey reporting he had been assaulted by Arthur Cole Thompson. After completing the investigation Deputy Parks will be requesting summons for Randall W. Delancey, age 53, and Arthur Cole Thompson, age 23, through Marietta Municipal Court for disorderly conduct.
On 4 Feb 18 Captain Rhodes was travelling southbound on State Route 339, Waterford Township. A traffic stop was initiated on a vehicle observed going left of center. As Captain Rhodes approached the vehicle an odor of an alcoholic beverage was detected. The driver, Jeffery Flesher, displayed very slow movements and his speech was slurred. Flesher was asked to submit to standardized field sobriety tests, which he performed poorly on. Jeffery Dwaine Flesher, age 52, 2240 Righteous Ridge Road, Waterford, was placed under arrest for OVI, left of center and safety belt violation. Flesher was transported to the Washington County Jail for processing.

On 4 Feb 18 Deputy Zide conducted a traffic stop on Gilman Avenue, Marietta, Ohio. A passenger, Glenna M. Brooker, spoke with Deputy Zide and appeared shaky and was unable to keep contact with him. K9 Rita was taken around the vehicle, giving a positive indication. Brooker stated she did have drugs on her person and was advised to give the drugs and anything else that was illegal to Deputy Zide, which included a small baggie of meth, a meth pipe, digital scales and marijuana. Glenna M. Brooker, age 37, 121 Pine Drive, Little Hocking, was placed under arrest for possession of drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana. Brooker was transported to the Washington County Jail for processing.
On 4 Feb 18 Deputy Zide conducted a traffic stop on Front Street, Marietta, Ohio. The driver, Delbert Cain, and passengers were identified. Delbert Cain was found to be under a license forfeiture suspension. Deputy Zide asked if there was anything illegal in the vehicle with all passengers stating no. K9 Rita was taken around the vehicle which produced a positive indication. The occupants were asked to exit the vehicle and a search revealed a glass smoking pipe with residue, 3 syringes, a drug kit with spoon, cotton balls and tourniquet, all belonging to occupants inside the vehicle. Based on this information the following subjects will be summoned into Marietta Municipal Court on the following charges. Brandy N. Carder, age 31, 60 Herning Lane, Parkersburg, WV, possession of drug abuse instruments and drug paraphernalia, Brian Denver Hess, age 42, 303 38th Street, Vienna, WV, possession of drug abuse instruments charged, Delbert Daniel Cain, age 42, 100 Simpson Street, Marietta, drug paraphernalia, driving under license forfeiture and lanes of travel violation.

David Lee Slagle Jr., age 36, 4869 Rainbow Road, Lowell, Ohio, for trafficking in drugs, receiving stolen property, felonies, 2 counts theft and possessing criminal tools, all misdemeanors.
Lisa Marie Bartlett, age 29, homeless, possession of drugs and tampering with evidence, both felonies.
Jaden Donavon Wise, age 19, 35 Wildwood Drive, Parkersburg, WV, breaking and entering, a felony, and theft, a misdemeanor.
