The Washington County Sheriff’s Office is currently seeking applications for the position of Corrections Nurse at the Washington County Jail. Successful applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Be a U.S. citizen;

• Minimum current license as an LPN in Ohio as issued by the Board of Nursing;

• Successfully pass Corrections Officer Basic Academy within 1 year of employment

• Successfully pass pre-employment Physical Agility Test;

• Successfully pass complete Background Investigation; and

• Successfully pass medical examination including drug screen.

The salary ranges starting from $36,000 per year to $48,000 after 4 years. Physical fitness incentives are also included.
