On 17 Dec 17 Deputies responded to the scene of a deceased male.  No foul play is suspected.  (126)

On 17 Dec 17 the Wood County, WV, Sheriff’s Office contacted the Washington County Sheriff’s Office in reference to Nathan Dean Bomer, 104 Dunedin Road, Marietta, OH, who had two active warrants out of West Virginia. Deputies located Bomer and advised him of the warrants.  Information on the warrant was checked against Bomer’s personal information, finding him to be the same individual.  A charge of fugitive from justice was filed against Bomer through Marietta Municipal Court.  Bomer, age 21, was transported to the Washington County Jail for processing. On 18 Dec 17 Deputy Zide was patrolling State Route 550 when he observed a silver Subaru bearing OH registration make a right hand turn onto State Route 339 without stopping at the red stop light at the intersection.  Deputy Zide pulled behind the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop.  The driver identified as Daniel A. Rohr, appeared nervous and shaky, as well as his passenger.  K9 Rita was run around the vehicle which revealed a positive indication for narcotics.  A subsequent search revealed marijuana, marijuana pipes, a marijuana grinder, multiple pills including hydrocodone and a substance believed to be LSD.  Rohr was advised of his rights at which time he went from denying to admitting ownership of the pills and suspected LSD.  Daniel Allen Rohr, age 23, 4005 School House Road, Little Hocking, Ohio, was placed under arrest for possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance hydrocodone, and obedience to traffic control devices.  Rohr was transported to the Washington County Jail for processing.

On 18 Dec 17 Deputy Johnson began an investigation regarding trespassing.  The victim declined prosecution in this case.

On 19 Dec 17 Sgt. Reeder began an investigation regarding “fake” money used in Washington County.

The following suspects were processed into the Washington County Jail between Tuesday 19 Dec 17 and Wednesday 20 Dec 17:

Lisa Mae Bartlett, age 29, 4869 Rainbow Road, Lowell, on warrants for receiving stolen property a felony, and theft a misdemeanor.  Bartlett was arrested by Sgt. Reeder of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 19 Dec 17 at 4:52 pm.

There are currently 25 females and 86 males incarcerated in the Washington County Jail.
