On 16 Dec 17 Deputies Jones and McKee met with Nicole Robertson and Tyler Soule who arrived on station to report a domestic violence incident. Both parties advised that the incident occurred at 5880 Germantown Road, Liberty Township on 16 Dec 17. Nicole Robertson was moving out of her parents’ home due. Tyler drove Nicole to her parents’ house to retrieve some clothing and other items. Both Tyler and Nicole advised that Christopher Robertson approached the vehicle after Nicole exited the house and while the windows were down, and grabbed Tyler by the shirt. Tyler state that Christopher struck him in the face with his fist and then pulled out a black handgun. Christopher proceeded to strike Tyler in the head with the firearm and verbally threatened his life repeatedly. Nicole attempted to shield Tyler from her father during the altercation and was struck in the face as well. Both Tyler and Nicole suffered bloody noses from the incident. Tyler advised that Christopher fired a round from the handgun. Tyler stated that he was in fear for his safety and believed that Christopher was going to shoot him or Nicole. A witness was able to corroborate the events of the evening and advised that they did hear a gun shot. Tyler advised that he did want to pursue a temporary protection order through Marietta Municipal Court.  On 17 Dec 17 Deputies were able to locate Christopher Robertson and he voluntarily made a statement regarding the incident. Due to the circumstances, Christopher Robertson, age 43, 5880 Germantown Road, Lower Salem, Ohio, was arrested and charged with aggravated menacing and domestic violence.

On 15 Dec 17 Deputy Hall responded to Newport Township in reference to drug paraphernalia being located outside of a business. Surveillance cameras were not pointed to where the item was located. Photographs were taken and the item was placed into evidence. (907)

On 16 Dec 17 Deputy Carr responded to Newport Township in regards to a criminal damage and theft report. Interviews were conducted and case is still pending. (790)

On 16 Dec 17 Deputy Schwendeman responded to Belpre Township in reference to drug paraphernalia being discovered on personal property. Photographs were taken of the items and placed into evidence.

On 17 Dec 17 Deputy Carr responded to 1570 Dutton Hill Road, Macksburg, in regards to a residential fire. Upon arrival, several units of the Caldwell Volunteer Fire Department were on scene. The structure was fully engulfed and on the ground. Deputy Carr followed up with Tim Hayes, the incident commander from Caldwell who stated there was nothing suspicious in nature and he did not see anything to indicate the Fire Marshall’s Office needed to be contacted. Case closed.

Thomas Alden Statkiewicz, age 34, 812 W. 8th Street, Parkersburg, WV, for failure to appear. Statkiewicz was arrested at McDonalds on Glendale by Deputy Hall of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 15 Dec 17 at 12:55 pm.

Steven Keith Fordyce, age 27, 67 White Oak Lane, Mineral Wells, WV, for breaking and entering and theft, both felonies. Fordyce was arrested by Deputy Schwendeman of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 15 Dec 17 at 1:49 pm.

Michael William Wilson, age 49, 114 Ellsworth Ave., Marietta, Ohio, for tampering with evidence and forgery, both felonies. Wilson was arrested at his residence by Lt. Hunter of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 15 Dec 17 at 2:24 pm.

Mark Matthew Smith, age 28, 114 Ellsworth Ave., Marietta, Ohio, for forgery, two counts of drugs possession and trafficking in drugs, all felonies. Smith was arrested at his residence by Lt. Hunter of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 15 Dec 17 at 3:41 pm.

Lorna Michelle Baker, age 26, 57 Garage Lane, Waterford, Ohio, for probation violation, a misdemeanor. Baker was arrested by Patrolman Hanson of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 15 Dec 17 at 5:35 pm.

Jeremy Michael Phipps, age 38, 717 Greene Street, Marietta, Ohio, for OVI and drug instruments possession, both misdemeanors, and drugs possession and illegal conveyance weapons/items in a detention facility, both felonies. Phipps was arrested at McDonalds on Glendale by Patrolman Glover of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 15 Dec 17 at 9:25 pm.

Mark Lynn Valentine, age 45, 905 13th Street, Parkersburg, WV, for failure to appear, a felony. Valentine was arrested by Deputy McKee of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 15 Dec 17 at 10:21 pm.

Kevin Duane Deem, age 41, 803 Walnut Street, Belpre, Ohio, for two counts of domestic violence, both felonies, assault an unborn child and drug paraphernalia, both misdemeanors. Ryan Andrew Davis, age 35, 207 Virginia Street, Marietta, Ohio, for parole violation, a felony. Davis was arrested at the Adult Parole Office by Deputy Gerber of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 18 Dec 17 at 10:43 am.
