WCSO NEWS RELEASES FOR 16 NOV 17
On 11 Nov 17 at approximately 1033 hours Deputy Parks and Lt. Hornbeck were dispatched to 1910 State Route 550, Cutler in reference to Troy Poirier and Robert Ruble fighting over soda. Deputies met with Troy Poirier who stated he wrote “don’t drink you bum” on 2-two liter bottles of pop, recently purchased for him. Troy advised this was directed towards his sister, Caitlin Ruble, and her husband, Robert Ruble. Troy stated Caitlin found the pop and confronted him about it by coming into his bedroom, and they became involved in a verbal argument. Troy states he then heard Robert go into the kitchen and say a few things, and then say “whatever”. Troy states when he came out of his bedroom Robert began to call him names and he called Robert a “crack head”. Troy states a verbal argument between he and Robert continued. Troy further advised during his verbal altercation with Robert his sister spoke up and said, “If he’s gonna say something to you, you might as well beat him up right now”. Troy advised he continued to call Robert a crack head, and Caitlin gave Robert permission to hit him. Troy advised Robert began to strike him in the face and he fell backwards and hit his hand on the counter causing a small cut on his finger. Troy could not recall fighting back, however knows he did defend himself. Lt. Hornbeck met with Caitlin and Robert and they all gave similar accounts of the events. Troy Alan Poirier, age 20, 1910 State Route 550, Cutler, Caitlin Renee Ruble, age 22, and Robert Charles Ruble, age 23, 2200 Big Run Road, Stewart, OH, will be summoned into Marietta Municipal Court for disorderly conduct.
On 14 Nov 17 Deputy Carr began an investigation at 41 Byers Road, Marietta, at the storage units where entry had been made. Items stolen include patio chairs, patio umbrella and table as well as an above ground pool. This case remains under investigation.

Virlie R. Runyon, 22 Runyon Drive, Belfry, KY, selling, purchasing, distributing or delivering dangerous drugs.
Deandre L. Jones, 1006 14th Street, Parkersburg, WV, failure to appear.
Katlyn M. Hatfield, 22 Runyon Drive, Belfry, KY, selling, purchasing, distributing or delivering dangerous drugs.
David W. Hart, 2236 SR 83, Beverly, for theft.
Curtis L. Davis, Jr., 117 Buells Circle, Marietta, domestic violence.
The following suspects were processed into the Washington County Jail between Wednesday 15 Nov 17 and Thursday 16 Nov 17:
Claudia Ann Collins, age 36, 3939 11th Avenue, Parkersburg, WV, for theft/auto, a felony. Collins was arrested in Wirt County by Patrolman Nichols of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 15 Nov 17 at 12:35 pm.
Christina Marie Hower, age 33, 736 Utica Avenue, Akron, OH, on a warrant for OVI, a misdemeanor. Hower was arrested by Patrolman Ritchie of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 15 Nov 17 at 11:18 pm.
Natasha Marie Salyer, age 27, 3569 Veto Road, Vincent, for drug possession, 2 counts of theft, and drug instrument possession, all misdemeanors. Salyer was arrested at her residence by Deputy Johnson of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 16 Nov 17 at 4:28 am.
David Christopher Smith, age 36, homeless, Parkersburg, WV, for obstructing official business, a misdemeanor. Smith was arrested in Belpre by Patrolman Tewanger of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 16 Nov 17 at 6:46 am.
Mark Evan Macaulay, age 36, 2414 Norris Avenue, Belpre, for drug instrument possession, a misdemeanor. Macaulay was arrested in Belpre by Patrolman Heddleston of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 16 Nov 17 at 7:27 am.
There are currently 28 females and 89 males incarcerated in the Washington County Jail.
