On 4 Nov 17 Thomas R. Blakely, 138 S. Main Street, Apt. 206, Oberlin, OH, reported being assaulted, however did not wish to have the subject prosecuted.  This case is marked closed.  (178)

On 7 Nov 17 Deputies responded to 120 Sanjubar Drive, Marietta, in an attempt to locate Patrick Worstell, who currently had an active warrant for his arrest.   Deputies believed that Worstell was at this location. Deputies made contact with the homeowner and obtained permission to search the residence. While conducting the search, Deputy Parks located a locked bathroom door in one of the bedrooms. The bedroom appeared to have been occupied by a male subject and on a dresser next to the door was a wallet containing an identification card for Thomas Gaughan.  There was also an active warrant for Gaughan’s arrest as well.  Upon opening the bathroom door, Thomas Gaughan was located inside and appeared to be under the influence of narcotics. In the trashcan next to the toilet  Deputies located a used hypodermic syringe and a spoon containing residue.  Gaughan was read his Miranda Rights and admitted to injecting heroin.  Thomas William Gaughan, age 31, 120 Sanjubar Drive, Marietta, was placed under arrest for possession of a drug instrument and transported to the Washington County Jail for processing.

Haydon J. Givens, 17990 State Route 550, Marietta; failure to appear, original charge possession of drugs.

Isaac Martin, 106 Meadowcrest Lane, Little Hocking; failure to appear; original charge disorderly conduct.

Christina M. Hower, 516 Smith Street, Marietta; probation violation, original charge OVI.

The following suspects were processed into the Washington County Jail between Monday 6 Nov 17 and Tuesday 7 Nov 17:

Jeffrey Dwayne Smith, age 22, 213 ½ Elm Street, Marietta, for probation violation, a misdemeanor.  Smith was arrested by Probation Officer Ferrell of the Marietta City Probation Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 6 Nov 17 at 1:22 pm.

Lynsey Brooke Erb, age 30, 140 Cecil Meneffee Drive, Moorefield, WV, on warrants for theft, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, obstructing official business, abuse of a corpse, and tampering with evidence, all felonies.  Erb was arrested at the Washington County Jail by Deputy Parks of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 6 Nov 17 at 3:10 pm.

Christopher Adam Grinter, age 30, 22nd Street, Parkersburg, WV, for criminal mischief, a misdemeanor.  Grinter was arrested at Belpre MMH by Patrolman Nichols of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail  on 6 Nov 17 at 5:33 pm.

Audrey Ann Eckstein, age 57, 406 Front Street, Apt. A, New Matamoras, for drug instrument possession, a misdemeanor.  Eckstein was arrested by Patrolman Smith of the New Matamoras Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 6 Nov 17 at 6:24 pm.

Wesley Orland Roberts, age 25, 2070 Roberts Road, Amesville, OH, for 2 warrants of failure to appear, misdemeanors, theft, carrying a concealed weapon and breaking and entering, felonies.  Roberts was arrested in Barlow by Deputy Johnson of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 6 Nov 17 at 8:27 pm.

Jonathan William Leasure, age 32, 1001 Florence Street, Belpre, for making false alarms, a misdemeanor.  Leasure was arrested by Patrolman Heddleston of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 7 Nov 17 at 5:39 am.

Thomas William Gaughan, age 31, 120 Sanjubar Drive, Marietta, for drug instrument possession, a misdemeanor.  Gaughan was arrested by Deputy Allender of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 7 Nov 17 at 11:03 am.

Brittany Marie Wheeler, age 26, 202 Aurora Street, Marietta, for drug instrument possession, a misdemeanor.  Wheeler was arrested by Patrolman Hively of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 7 Nov 17 at 11:18 am.

Alicia Dawn Miller, age 34, 9534 N. SR 60 NW, McConnelsville, OH, for drug instrument possession, a misdemeanor.  Miller was arrested by Patrolman Hively of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 7 Nov 17 at 11:49 am.

Justin Ryan Schroeder, age 36, 304 Kenwood Street, Marietta, for trafficking in drugs, a felony.  Schroeder was arrested by Deputy Parks of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 7 Nov 17 at 12:17 pm.

There are currently 24 females and 95 males incarcerated in the Washington County Jail.
