On 31 Oct 17 Deputy A. McConnell issued a citation for speed to Levi U. Bills, 173 Riverview Estates 30, St. Mary’s, WV; a citation for a stop light/sign violation to Brice M. Britton, 4512 N. State Route 376, McConnelsville, OH; a citation for failure to yield to Nicole D. Parsons, 920C Mitchell Avenue, Beverly.
On 31 Oct 17 Sgt. Mankins issued a citation for a stop light/sign violation to Drew A. Wagner, 2355 State Route 83, Beverly, OH.
On 2 Nov 17 Deputy Parks was dispatched to 315 Hull Road, Whipple. Malisa Barnes reported her husband, Justin Barnes had physically thrown her out of the residence. Malisa stated to Deputy Parks that she and her husband were in a verbal disagreement at which time her husband took one child outside and continued yelling at him. Malisa tried to get outside as well, however her husband was blocking the door. Justin continued to also yell at Malisa at which time he opened the door and grabbed her pulling her out onto the porch. Malisa did have marks to her arm consistent with her story. Malisa states that Justin went on to say he would burn the home down, which he has threatened in the past. Upon speaking with Justin he admitted to grabbing Malisa, but states he did not threaten to burn the home down. Justin William Barnes, age 37, was placed under arrest for domestic violence and transported to the Washington County Jail for processing.
On 2 Nov 17 Jo Ellen Daugherty, 26935 SR 7, Marietta, reported items removed from her residence. This case remains under investigation. (1303)
On 2 Nov 17 Deputy Parks responded to Dollar General, 10282 SR 550, Vincent, to a report of items stolen from the business. This case remains under investigation.
On 3 Nov 17 Deputy Carr responded to 585 Browns Road, Lot 9, Marietta, in regards to a domestic disturbance. It was reported that Hunter Brandt had been drinking and became upset with his girlfriend. Brandt’s mother, Cindy Strickland, took the car keys from him due to his drinking, which upset Brandt further. Brandt then began screaming at his mother, eventually breaking a door off the hinges to his mother’s bedroom, where she retreated to, and then shoving her backwards onto her bed. Strickland’s husband called 911 and was able to keep further violence from occurring until law enforcement arrived. Strickland states that as a result of Brandt’s drinking and violent outbursts, she was in fear for her safety on this date, however, declined a protection order. Deputy Carr placed Hunter Dayne Brandt, age 22, 585 Brown Road, Marietta, under arrest for domestic violence and transported him to the Washington County Jail where he submitted to a portable breath test, with the result being .185.
On 3 Nov 17 Deputy Schwendeman along with the Little Hocking Volunteer Fire Department Squad responded to 3053 State Route 339, Belpre, to a report of a dog biting a subject at that home. This case remains under investigation.
On 3 Nov 17 Deputy Zide completed an Ohio Traffic Crash Repot for Anita M. Collins, 8500 SR 60, Lowell, who was travelling north on State Route 60 in Muskingum Township when she struck a deer. No further investigation.
On 4 Nov 17 Deputies responded to Newport Township in reference to a domestic violence incident. In speaking with all parties it was determined to be unfounded. (790)
On 4 Nov 17 Deputy Schwendeman completed an Ohio Traffic Crash Repot for Timothy F. Dowler, 44 Plum Run Road, Waterford, who was travelling east on State Route 676 in Warren Township when he struck a deer. No further investigation.

Eric Ellis Luke, age 30, 115 Muskingum Drive, Marietta, 3rd degree felony illegal cultivation of marijuana and violation of community control; 12 months Orient.
Thomas Christain Kaptis, age 42, 9580 State Route 339, Vincent, 5th degree possession of heroin; 4th degree felony failure to appear, 180 days county jail.

Hunter Dayne Brandt, age 22, 585 Browns Road, Marietta, for open container and domestic violence, both misdemeanors. Brandt was arrested on Browns Road by Deputy Carr of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 3 Nov 17 at 8:06 pm.
Christina Rose Nunn, age 47, 119 Sunset Lane, Marietta, on five warrants for theft, all felonies and four warrants for uttering, all felonies. Nunn was picked up in Tallahassee, FL by Deputy A. McConnell and Deputy Sheaves of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 4 Nov 17 at 3:00 am.
Chelsey Danielle Bills, age 26, 731 Glendale Road, Marietta, for assault, a misdemeanor. Bills was arrested at Marietta Memorial Hospital by Patrolman Glover of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 4 Nov 17 at 4:07 am.
Ralston George Phillips, age 43, 3872 Lancewood Drive, Coral Springs, FL, for OVI and left of center, both misdemeanors. Phillips was arrested on Second Street by Patrolman Sury of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 4 Nov 17 at 5:51 am.
Jerod Scott Williams, age 30, 1605 Farson Street, Belpre, for theft, a felony. Williams was arrested on Mill Branch Road by Deputy Thorpe of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 4 Nov 17 at 12:26 pm.
Eric Russell Scott Neff, age 26, 240 Walnut Street, Marietta, for illegal assembly of chemicals and illegal manufacture of drugs, both felonies and driving under suspension, speed, both misdemeanors. Neff was arrested at the Putnam Place Apartments by Patrolman Huck of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 4 Nov 17 at 8:55 pm.
Joshua Eugene Marcum, age 30, homeless, for illegal assembly of chemicals and illegal manufacture of drugs, both felonies. Marcum was arrested at the Putnam Place Apartments by Patrolman Huck of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 4 Nov 17 at 9:11 pm.
Christopher Scott Holder, age 33, 4755 Waterford Road, Marietta, for theft, a misdemeanor. Holder was arrested at his residence by Sgt. Reeder of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 5 Nov 17 at 1:05 pm.
Kelly Jane Farnsworth, age 29, 122 Harmar Street, Marietta, for violation of protection order, a misdemeanor. Farnsworth was arrested by Patrolman Ritchie of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 6 Nov 17 at 8:04 am.
