On 29 Oct 17 Par Mar, 66 Arrowhead Road, Little Hocking, reported the theft of tobacco items from the store.  This case remains under investigation.  (1303)

On 29 Oct 17 Sgt. Mankins responded to 22883 State Route 339, Beverly , in reference to locating a subject wanted by the Belpre Police Department on outstanding warrants.  Jess Daniel Dixon, age 35, was located at the residence and taken into custody by Deputies.  A syringe was located in Dixon’s pocket and it was believed that Dixon had no medical reason for using/possessing a syringe.  Deputies searched the area where Dixon was located and detected a strong odor of marijuana.  Deputies then located a crock pot on the porch with an unknown liquid being used to boil marijuana.   Also located was a metal can in the area where Dixon was by the porch.  Located inside the can was a plastic zip lock bag containing .44 grams of a crystal substance consistent with methamphetamine.   Dixon was placed under arrest on the warrants and transported to the Washington County Jail.  Dixon was advised of his Miranda Rights and advised regarding bringing contraband into the Washington County Jail.  During the search a small baggie of marijuana was located in his pants pocket.  Dixon was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug abuse instruments and conveying into a detention facility.

On 30 Oct 17 Amber Brunoni, 840 Dana Road, Newport, reported a Yamaha dirk bike missing from her property.  This case remains under investigation.  (712)

On 30 Oct 17 Deputy Parks issued a citation to Levi W. Bickford, 200 Pennock Drive, Beverly, for speed, 81 in a 70 mph zone.

On 30 Oct 17 Deputy Parks issued a citation to Stephen J. Cannon Jr., 4209 Selkerk Avenue, Youngstown, OH, for speed, 85 in a 70 mph zone.

On 31 Oct 17 Deputy Parks issued a citation to Andrew J. Powell, 1236 22nd Street, Parkersburg, WV, for right of way when turning left.

On 31 Oct 17 the Little Hocking and Dunham Volunteer Fire Departments along with Deputies responded to 2342 Sealy Ridge Road, Vincent, to a camper fire.   The camper was found to be a total loss.  This case remains under investigation.  (712)

Jerricho L. Pugh, 25 Watertown Road, Waterford, OH, probation violation, original charge unauthorized use of motor vehicle, and probation violation, original charge driving while under the influence of alcohol/drugs.

Ashley D. Mahoney, LKA: 595 W. 5th Street, Chillicothe, OH, failure to appear, original charge tampering with evidence.

Robert E. O’Brien Jr., LKA: 343 Main Street, Lower Salem, OH, probation violation, original charge breaking and entering.

Vickie M. Thompson, LKA: 503 Eighth Street, Marietta, probation violation, original charge criminal trespassing.

Kevin Ridgeway, 402 Main Street, New Matamoras, for domestic violence.

Brandon D. Wallace, 229 4th Street, Lowell, OH, for theft.

The following suspects were processed into the Washington County Jail between Monday 30 Oct 17 and Tuesday 31 Oct 17:

Sydney Eric Lee Noland, age 21, 4001 11th Avenue, Parkersburg, WV, for unlawful sexual conduct with a minor and breach of recognizance, both misdemeanors.  Noland turned himself in at the Marietta City Police Department and was processed into the Washington County Jail on 30 Oct 17 at 12:53 pm.

Joshua Wayne Youngblood, age 34, 309 Scammel Street, Marietta, for failure to register and FRA suspension, both misdemeanors.  Youngblood was arrested at his residence by Lt. Hunter of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 30 Oct 17 at 1:32 pm.

Justin Lee Dillon, age 28, 38725 State Route  681, Reedsville, OH, for driving under suspension, no seatbelt and possession of drug abuse instruments, all misdemeanors.  Dillon was picked up in Athens County by Patrolman Greathouse of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 30 Oct 17 at 3:31 pm.

Everett Christopher Freeland, age 32, 110 ½ Lee Street, Belpre, for probation violation, a felony.  Freeland was arrested by Deputy Sheaves of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 30 Oct 17 at 7:08 pm.

Corey Levi Morrison, age 20, 1160 Hadley Hollow Road, Marietta, for FRA suspension, probation violation and assault, all misdemeanors.  Morrison was arrested on State Route 7 by Trooper Varner of the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 30 Oct 17 at 7:36 pm.

Kevin Christopher Bliss, age 25, 4505 Tyler Highway, Sistersville, WV, fugitive from justice, a misdemeanor.  Bliss was arrested by Patrolman Hanson of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 30 Oct 17 at 8:11 pm.

Shelly Lynn Lahai, age 43, Browns Road, Unit 10, Marietta, on a warrant for failure to appear, a misdemeanor.  Lahai was arrested by Deputy McKee of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 30 Oct 17 at 10:53 pm.

Tyler Edward Goodwin, age 19, 731 Greene Street, Marietta, violation of protection order and resisting arrest, both misdemeanors.  Goodwin was arrested at Walmart by Patrolman Bonnette  of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 31 Oct 7 at 5:39 am.

McKenzie Ann Cowman, age 24, 814 Seneca Drive, Belpre, for violation of a protection order, a misdemeanor.  Cowman was arrested by Patrolman Greathouse of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 31 Oct 17 at 8:23 am.

There are currently 21 females and 102 males incarcerated in the Washington County Jail.
