On 25 Oct 17 Deputies were dispatched to 94 Washington Street, Waterford, in reference to an incident of domestic violence.  Shawna Hollingsworth stated she arrived home at 108 Washington Street when her soon to be ex-husband, Michael  Hollingsworth, came over and demanded a set of keys from her which she possessed.  Shawna told Michael she had to retrieve some other keys off of the same key ring before he could have them at which time he became enraged and attempted to keep her from entering her residence by standing in front of the doorway.   Shawna then proceeded to the side door of the residence where she was met by Michael from inside where the then forcibly pushed her outside into the exterior door of the home. Shawna was not injured during this assault, but did indicate she felt as if the defendant was attempting to cause harm to her.   Shawna then locked herself in a vehicle and called 911 for help.  Deputies spoke with Michael who admitted to having blocked Shawna’s path from her home, but only because he was attempting to get a certain key from her.  Michael denied any type of physical altercation between the two, but did admit to having participated in the argument between him and Shawna over the keys.  Lt. Hunter placed Michael Dean Hollingsworth, age 53, 94 Washington Street, Waterford, under arrest for domestic violence and transported Michael to the Washington County Jail for processing.
