Major Crimes Task Force Agents Arrest Three Marietta Residents

An investigation by Agents of the Ohio Organized Crimes Investigations Commission, Washington Morgan Noble Major Crimes Task Force, resulted in a search warrant and arrests at 304 Kenwood Avenue, Marietta, Ohio.
On 24 Oct 17 at approximately 2332 hours, Agents executed a search warrant at 304 Kenwood Avenue, Marietta, Ohio. During the search approximately 4.65 grams of suspected methamphetamine, a schedule II substance was located along with other drug paraphernalia.
Matthew Dagnesi was located in an upstairs bedroom along with an infant child. A large quantity of drug paraphernalia, a large quantity of syringes, cash, a drug ledger, digital scales and approximately .98 grams of suspected cocaine were also located in close proximity to the infant’s clothing, food and diapers. Syringes were also found stored in reach of the child.
Justin R. Schroeder was located in an upstairs bathroom attempting to flush items down the toilet. He was found in possession of approximately 4.35 grams of suspected methamphetamine, .42 grams of an unknown white powder and an alcohol swab packaged in a tied plastic bag. Also located was a syringe in the bathroom with Schroeder which was located in the toilet. Schroeder’s living area in the basement was searched finding approximately .3 grams of suspected methamphetamine in a small zip lock bag, approximately 1” square, as well as digital scales and drug paraphernalia.
Amelia Torres was located in the downstairs living room area along with a 2 juveniles. A witness was also located in this area along with 3 other juveniles. Torres advised Agents that she uses suboxone that she buys from the streets and also uses the upstairs bedroom where Dagnesi was located. Torres admitted she was aware other subjects had been coming to the residence to purchase drugs.
Matthew James Dagnesi, age 30, 304 Kenwood Avenue, Marietta, was placed under arrest and charged with trafficking in methamphetamine in the presence of a juvenile, a 2nd degree felony, permitting drug abuse, a 5th degree felony and endangering the welfare of a child, a 1st degree misdemeanor.
Justin Ryan Schroeder, age 36, 304 Kenwood Avenue, Marietta, was placed under arrest and charged with trafficking in methamphetamine in the presence of a juvenile, a 2nd degree felony and tampering with evidence, a 3rd degree felony.
Amelia Marie Torres, age 27, 304 Kenwood Avenue, Marietta, was placed under arrest and charged with permitting drug abuse, a 5th degree felony, and endangering the welfare of a child, a 1st degree misdemeanor.
All three subjects remain incarcerated pending their court appearance on Thursday 26 Oct 17 at 8 a.m. in Marietta Municipal Court.
