Marietta Man Charged with Soliciting

On 20 Oct 17 the Washington County Sheriff’s Office Detective Bureau began an investigation involving Jeremy Grosklos, the victim’s former school instructor at the Marietta High School.  The allegations were that Grosklos offered money for sexual actions from the victim.   The victim had confided in Grosklos about personal problems and described Grosklos as someone who would listen.  The victim states that on/or about 17 Oct 17 he/she met with Grosklos at his residence, went to dinner with him, and afterwards returned to the Browns Road residence.  The victim advised that when they returned to Marietta, Grosklos drove him/her around town for about an hour, and asked the victim if he/she would masturbate for money or let someone give him/her oral sex for money.  Upon arrival back at the apartment Grosklos asked again if he/she wanted to make any money, at which time Grosklos was told no and the victim left.  The victim had also revealed to Detectives text messages he/she had received from Grosklos stating he had lots of cash in his wallet, about going to dinner again, and hopefully it being in Columbus, and including texts about some ideas for steady regular cash if “your” interested.    Detectives met with Grosklos at his residence and advised him that they had viewed the text messages from him to the victim.   Grosklos confessed to offering the victim money for sexual favors.   Detective McPeek is requesting a summons be issued to Jeremy T. Grosklos, age 39, 966 Browns Road, Apt. B, Marietta, Ohio, for 3rd degree misdemeanor charge of soliciting.
