On 1 Oct 17 Sgt. Mankins began an investigation into identity fraud in Palmer Township.  This case remains under investigation.

On 5 Oct 17 Deputy Allender and Sgt. Mankins were dispatched Newport Township regarding Tiffany Bookman being assaulted by Aaron Robinson.  Tiffany had fled the residence with her small children and was now at another location.  Deputies met with Tiffany at which time they noted bruising to her arms and neck.  Tiffany was asked what had occurred this date.  Tiffany stated she was not feeling well when she woke up and had asked Aaron to take care of the children.  Tiffany said Aaron started calling her fat, lazy and other derogatory names.  Tiffany then states she got up and started to get the children ready to walk to her parent’s house at which time Aaron ran up to her, grabbed her by her hair and started punching her in the head.   Tiffany states she was punched in the head approximately 5 to 6 times, and that Aaron punched her in the arms several times as well.  According to Tiffany, at some point, Aaron grabbed her phone and threw it at her chest.  Tiffany then tried to get the children into a stroller when Aaron grabbed her around the neck, pushed her up against the door and threatened to kill her, stating “If I can’t have you, no one will”.  Tiffany said she was unable to get loose from his grasp so she tried to kick him and scratched him, and finally was able to free herself and fled the home.  A small child also reported to Deputies that “daddy hurt mommy”.  Aaron was located walking through a field and detained.  Aaron was asked about the events of the day with him stating it was just a yelling argument.  Aaron then advised it was a pushing and shoving match after being advised of the allegations against him.    Based on the injuries observed, Aaron Ryan Robinson, age 23, was placed under arrest for domestic violence and transported to the Washington County Jail for processing.
