On 26 Sep 17 Sgt. Farrell while working at the Washington County Jail, received a warrant from Ritchey County, WV, for the arrest of Ryan Oneil Nichols.  The information provided in the warrant was consistent with the records of Nichols at the Washington County Jail.  Charges of fugitive from justice were filed on Nichols.

On 26 Sep 17 Sgt. Reeder issued a citation for failure to stop at a stop sign to Vincent A. Locke, 740 SR 376, Stockport, OH.

On 27 Sep 17 Sgt. Reeder issued a citation for speed to Curtis M. Benson, 4665 Warren Chapel Road, Marietta.

On 27 Sep 17 Shane F. Carpenter, 370 Cisler Ridge, New Matamoras, reported items missing from his residence.  This case remains under investigation.  (790)

The following suspects were processed into the Washington County Jail between Wednesday 27 Sep 17 and Thursday 28 Sep 17:

Kenneth Ray Rogers, age 30, 100 Lynwood Ave., Marietta, for violation of protection order, a misdemeanor. Rogers was arrested at his residence by Trooper Payne of the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 27 Sep 17 at 5:50 pm.

There are currently 23 females and 87 males incarcerated in the Washington County Jail.
