On 28 Jul 17 Deputies responded to 2460  Pleasant Ridge Road, Marietta, in response to a report that Charlie Haught III was making threats towards a female subject, and a gunshot had been heard coming from that location.   Deputies arrived as Charles Haught III and another subject were leaving the driveway.  The occupants of the vehicle were ordered to stop and Haught was ordered out of the vehicle.  Haught was searched for weapons in which a metal cylindrical container was located in his pocket.  Haught was asked what was in the container with him stating it was methamphetamine.  Also located on Haught’s person was a black bag with 8 small new plastic baggies, commonly used for trafficking in drugs.  The container held white crystals and white powder that field tested positive for methamphetamine.  The total weight of the methamphetamine in the metal container was 16.85 grams, however, Haught stated that it was approximately 2.5 grams of actual methamphetamine.  Charles Edward Haught III, age 33, 2470 Pleasant Ridge Road, Marietta, was placed under arrest for trafficking in drugs and possession of drugs and was transported to the Washington County Jail for processing.  (912)

Shean Daniel Sparks,  age 33, 1020 Charles Street, Parkersburg, WV, 5th-degree felony theft, 4th-degree felony breach of recognizance; 24 days county jail.

The following suspects were processed into the Washington County Jail between Friday 28 Jul 17 and Monday 31 Jul 17:

Mark Andrew Gibbs, age 21, 54256 Eden Ridge Road, Reedsville, OH, for probation violation, a felony.  Gibbs was arrested at the Adult Parole Authority Office by Deputy Malone of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 28 Jul 17 at 12:37 pm.

Gale Darleene Astraitis, age 61, 900 Boulevard Drive, Belpre, for probation violation, a misdemeanor.  Astraitis was arrested by Patrolman Smith of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 28 Jul 17 at 1:21 pm.

Charles Edward Haught III, age 33, 2470 Pleasant Ridge Road, Marietta, for complicity to possess drugs, aggravated trafficking in drugs, drug possession, 3 counts, trafficking in drugs, all felonies.  Haught was arrested by Captain Rhodes of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 28 Jul 17 at 4:08 pm.

Larry Travis Lang, age 37, 3701 Plum Run Road, Waterford, for probation violation, a misdemeanor.  Lang was arrested at the Oriana House by Probation Officer E. Brockmeier of the Marietta City Probation Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 28 Jul 17 at 6:53 pm.

Alex Thomas Klintworth, age 25, 300 Starlite Drive, Marietta, for probation violation, a misdemeanor.  Klintworth was arrested by Probation Officer P. Brockmeier of the Marietta City Probation Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 28 Jul 17 at 7:09 pm.

Ian Slade Patterson, age 23, 104 Riley Drive, Apt. 1, Marietta, on warrants for endangering children, 2 counts, both misdemeanors.   Patterson was arrested at his home by Patrolman Richards of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 29 Jul 17 at 12:17 am.

Makayla Lynn Wright, age 20, 2204 Murray Street, Belpre, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor.  Wright was arrested at her residence by Patrolman Greathouse of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 29 Jul 17 at 11:09 am.

Joshua Scott Lent, age 22, homeless, for drug paraphernalia, 2 counts, obstructing official business, driving under suspension, 2 counts, and left of center, all misdemeanors.  Lent was arrested at 7^th and Butler Street by Patrolman Bonnette of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 30  Jul 17 at 1:20 am.

 Ross Lester Phillips III, age 30, 331 Main Street, Lower Salem, for probation violation, a misdemeanor.  Phillips was arrested by Patrolman Dennis of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 31 Jul 17 at 10:30 am.
