On 22 Jul 17 Deputy Johnson responded to the Washington County Juvenile Center in reference to two individuals escaping from the center.  The area surrounding the center was checked by numerous Deputies and Marietta City PD Officers with negative results.  This case remains under investigation.

On 23 Jul 17 Deputy A. McConnell was dispatched to Newport Township in reference to 2 juveniles leaving the home sometime in the night and not returning.  While taking the report a vehicle was heard pulling in to an empty lot.  In checking the area the juveniles were located.  Both juveniles admitted to sneaking out of the home and going driving around with a friend.  Charges for unruly juvenile will be requested through the Washington County Juvenile Court on both juveniles.

The following suspects were processed into the Washington County Jail between Tuesday 25 Jul 17 and Wednesday 26 Jul 17:

Jessica M Hendershot, age 32, 101 Evens Street, New Matamoras, OH, for probation violation, a misdemeanor. Hendershot was arrested at the Marietta City Probation Office by Probation Officer PJ Brockmeier and processed into the Washington County Jail on 25 Jul 17 at 1:31 pm.

Bobbie Sue Davis, age 33, 6590 State Route 339, Vincent, OH, for disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor. Davis was arrested in Vincent by Deputy Zide of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 25 Jul 17 at 2:54 pm.

Kenneth Allen Bay, age 28, 33 Powell Drive, Parkersburg, WV, for theft, a felony. Bay was picked up in Huttonsville, WV by Deputy Huffer of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 25 Jul 17 at 4:06 pm.

Donald Richard Gregor Jr., age 44, 27335 State Route 7 Lot 13, Reno, OH, for probation violation, a misdemeanor. Gregor was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Smith of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 25 Jul 17 at 4:26 pm.

Deidre Fawn Murphy, age 50, 405 Lord Street, Marietta, OH, for theft and failure to appear, both misdemeanors. Murphy was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Richards of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 26 Jul 17 at 1:51 am.

Travis Eugene Sparks, age 34, 3395 State Route 26, Marietta, OH, for felonious assault, a felony. Sparks was pick up at the Ross Correctional Institute by Deputy Malone of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 26 Jul 17 at 3:10 pm.

There are currently 23 females and 95 males incarcerated in the Washington County Jail.
