NEWS RELEASES FOR 07 JUL 17
On 4 Jul 17 Deputy A. McConnell was dispatched to 5090 Whipple Run Road, after receiving a 911 hang up call. Deputy McConnell met with Julie and James Ash outside the residence. James advised his son, Zachary Ash, had been disrespecting him all morning and they got into a verbal altercation, where Zachary took a shoe and threw it at James hitting him in the back of the head. Deputy McConnell met with Zachary and asked him to explain what took place prior to my arrival. Zachary appeared to be very agitated when trying to speak to Deputies. Zachary advised his father threw a chair through his truck window causing it to shatter approximately three days prior. Zachary confronted his father and wanted the window fixed. Zachary stated he was upset because his truck was not fixed and then the altercation began. Zachary was asked about him throwing a shoe at his father, and he denied this.
