On 29 Jun 17Deputy A. McConnell along with the Little Hocking Volunteer Fire Department Squad responded to an unresponsive female in Belpre Township.

On 29 Jun 17 Deputy A. McConnell began an investigation into mail being tampered with and/or stolen.  This case remains under investigation.

On 29 Jun 17 Patricia L. Tate, reported items stolen from a boat in Marietta Township.  This case remains under investigation.   (415)

On 29 Jun 17 a warrant was received for Cynthia Anne Hollyfield, AKA: Cynthia Davis; Cynthia Beavers, from the Tazewell County Sheriff’s Office, VA.  This warrant was confirmed with the requesting agency.  Hollyfield was arrested at her residence and transported to the Washington County Jail for processing on a fugitive from justice charge.

On 29 Jun 17 employees of Country Corner Grocery, 2346 State Route 550, Bartlett, reported a 24 pack of Bud Light stolen from the store.  This case remains under investigation.  (1303)

On 29 Jun 17 Patricia Larrison, 38 Putnam Place, Marietta, reported a vehicle missing.  This case remains under investigation.  (799)

Jassandra Johnston, 683 Wynncrest Drive, Marietta, for failure to appear.

David Moore, 165 Pam Road, New Matamoras, for failure to appear.

Cassandra M. Sisson, 487 Corinth Hinton Road, Saideville, KY, for passing bad checks

Heather S. Simms, 1211 Wyatt Lane, Apt. A, Belpre, for contempt; original charge theft, and failure to appear; original charge theft.

Donald R. Gregor Jr., 27335 State Route 7, Lot 13, Marietta, breach of recognizance, original charge OVI.

The following individual was sentenced recently in Washington County Common Pleas Court:

William Edward Bartges Jr., age 44, 2800 Beach Drive, Lot 10, Belpre, 3^rd degree domestic violence, 120 days county jail.

The following suspects were processed into the Washington County Jail between Thursday 29 Jun 17 and Friday 30 Jun 17:

Jordan Trey Hines, age 27, 308 Fleur De Lis, Sterling, LA, for driving under suspension and speed, both misdemeanors.  Hines was arrested by Trooper Mikes of the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 29 Jun 17 at 7:58 am.

Felicia Dawn Wallace, age 27, 100 Water Street, Lowell, for probation violation, a felony.  Wallace was arrested in Barlow by Sgt. Reeder of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 29 Jun 17 at 12:30 pm.

Cynthia Anne Hollyfield, age 42, 27315 State Route 7, Marietta, for fugitive from justice, a misdemeanor.  Hollyfield was arrested at her residence by Deputy Johnson of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 29 Jun 17 at 2:37 pm.

Eric Christopher Edgar, age 32, 445 Gross Fork Road, Whipple, on a warrant for right of way to a pedestrian.  Edgar was arrested on Seventh Street by Patrolman Ritchie of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 30 Jun 17 at 2:10 am.

There are currently 23 females and 77 males incarcerated in the Washington County Jail.
