On 25 Jun 17 Deputy Metts began an investigation in reference to a vehicle being damaged while parked at the Warren High School. This case remains under investigation.
On 26 Jun 17 Deputy Hall met with members of the Marietta Bible Missionary, 70 Bramblewood Heights Road, Marietta, in reference to a theft investigation. This case remains under investigation.
On 26 Jun 17 Deputy Schwendeman took a report from a Warren Township resident having fraudulent charges on a JCPenney statement. These charges were for a microwave oven, 5 separate times, and also a foreign transactions fee 5 times as well.
On 27 Jun 17 Deputy Zide was patrolling State Route 7, Marietta Township, when he observed a Dodge Ram truck pass his location without a license plate light. A traffic stop was conducted on the truck, finding the driver to be Rocky B. Allen, 1170 Goose Run Road, Marietta. In checking Allen through dispatch it was found that he was under suspension for failure to provide financial responsibility/insurance. A citation was issued to Allen on this charge.
On 27 Jun 17 Deputies were dispatched to the 30 mile marker of State Route 7 in Marietta Township in reference to 2 small children playing along the roadway with no adult supervision. Deputies arrived and met with the caller who had observed the children playing too close to the road, with no sign of an adult nearby. Deputies were familiar with the children from a previous call, and believed they were associated with 29800 State Route 7 where Winnie J. Michaels resides. Deputies met with Michaels who advised she was watching the children while cleaning and they must have “crawled out through a window”. Michaels stated that she checked on the children every hour or so and had lost track. The children were found approximately 200 yards from the residence. Winnie Jo Michaels, age 34, 29800 State Route 7, Marietta, was placed under arrest for 2 counts of endangering children and transported to the Washington County Jail for processing.
On 27 Jun 17 Sgt. Mankins filed 4th degree felony theft charges on Grace Jean Wunderlich, age 19, 1526 Swift Road, Waterford, Ohio. On 13 Jun17 Deputies began an investigation into jewelry being removed from a Waterford home. Fliers were handed out to various jewelry stores and pawn shops so they were aware of the stolen jewelry. The victim later reported that one individual, listed as a suspect, came to her home and returned a ring. Wunderlich was interviewed and admitted to taking the jewelry and also selling the tennis bracelet so she could buy food for her family. Wunderlich was placed under arrest and transported to the Washington County Jail.

Shawna Wise, 158 ½ Oak Street, Butler, IN, failure to appear; contributing to the unruliness of a child.
Brett E. Shank, LKA: 710 Front Street, Park Place Apts. Apt. 2, Marietta, OH, failure to appear; original charge possession of chemicals for mfg. of drugs. .
The following suspects were processed into the Washington County Jail between Tuesday 27 Jun 17 and Wednesday 28 Jun 17:
Winnie Jo Michaels, age 34, 29800 State Route 7, Marietta, 2 counts of endangering children, both misdemeanors. Michaels was arrested by Lt. Hunter of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 27 Jun 17 at 12:47 pm.
Royce Lamar Lee, age 36, 104 Peckham Street, Akron, for failure to reinstate operator license and speed, both misdemeanors. Lee was arrested by Trooper Quatlebaum of the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 27 Jun 17 at 7:45 pm.
Grace Jean Marie Wunderlich, age 19, 1526 Swift Road, Waterford, for theft, a felony. Wunderlich was arrested at her residence by Sgt. Johnson of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 27 Jun 17 at 9:20 pm.
David Andrew Walker, age 30, 419 Warrior Drive, Vincent, on a warrant for FRA suspension, a misdemeanor. Walker was arrested by Deputy Schwendeman of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 27 Jun 18 at 12:57 am.
Dallas Willey Farnsworth, age 43, 122 Harmar Street, Marietta, for disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor. Farnsworth was arrested by Patrolman Sury of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 28 Jun 17 at 1:09 am.
Debra Lee Adams, age 23, 510 Smith Street, Marietta, for theft and disorderly conduct, both misdemeanors. Adams was arrested at Walmart by Patrolman Bonnett of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 28 Jun 17 at 1:23 am.
Brent Allen Reynolds, age 45, 8780 State Route 26, Marietta, for OVI and license plate light violation, both misdemeanors. Reynolds was arrested by Deputy Zide of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 28 Jun 17 at 1:37 am.
There are currently 24 females and 74 males incarcerated in the Washington County Jail.
