NEWS RELEASES FOR 27 JUN 17
On 25 Jun 17 Deputies responded to 3480 Highland Ridge Road, Lowell, in reference to Jamie M. Dye reporting her boyfriend, Matthew A. Holiday, came home intoxicated and angry. Deputy Black met with Dye who had fled from the residence. Dye states Holiday had been out drinking and upon him returning asked for his truck keys. Dye states she hid his keys so that he would not drive impaired. Holiday became upset about this and began yelling at Dye. Dye still would not tell Holiday where the keys were, in which he began throwing things in the residence. At one point Dye reported that Holiday stated “give me my keys before I hit you”. Dye attempted to get assistance from family, in which Holiday took her phone, her only means of obtaining help, and stated she could have it back when he got his key. At that time Dye left the residence, scared for her safety. Holiday had left the residence prior to Deputies arriving and was located at the Whipple Tavern. Matthew Allen Holiday, age 22, 3480 Highland Ridge Road, Lowell, was arrested for domestic violence and disrupting public service. Holiday was transported to the Washington County Jail where he tested a .206 on the PBT at 0340 hrs.
On 25 Jun 17 Deputies responded to Warren Township in reference to a report of domestic violence. Upon speaking with all parties it was determined to be unfounded. Case closed. (799)
On 25 Jun 17 Deputy Parks had occasion to speak with Jennifer M. Legleitner, 66 Wynncrest Drive, Marietta, Ohio. Legleitner had been drinking and was told by Deputy Parks that she should not drive due to the amount of alcohol she had consumed. Later in the early morning Deputy Parks was near the location of Legleitner and observed the garage door open and Legleitner’s car pull out. A traffic stop was conducted as Legleitner approached her residence. Legleitner exited the vehicle and identified herself to Deputy Parks. Legleitner was unsteady on her feet and a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage was detected. Legleitner had bloodshot eyes and her speech was slurred. Legleitner conducted field sobriety tests, however did poorly on those tests. Legleitner acknowledged that Deputy Parks told her not to drive because she had too much to drink. Jennifer Marie Legleitner, age 28, 66 Wynncrest Drive, Marietta, was placed her under arrest and transported her to the Washington County Jail where she was charged with OVI.
On 25 Jun 17 Deputies responded to a report of a fight in progress at the Hilltop Speedway, 863 Blue Knob Road, Marietta, Ohio. Deputies observed a security guard attempting two keep to males, later identified as Ronnie Goad and Zachary Ash, separated. Contact was made with Goad and he was asked what had occurred. Goad advised he was speaking with a friend when Ash approached him and asked him what had taken place, referring to an earlier incident. Goad advised Ash was acting in a disrespectful manner, and he proceeded to inform him of that, eventually becoming involved in a physical altercation with him (Ash). Contact was made with Ash and he was also asked to explain the events of the evening. Ash advised that Goad came into the pit area, kicked him in the face and punched him as he crouched behind the security guard. Ash was advised to clarify several things in which he consistently stated that Goad had initiated the whole incident. A witness to the incident advised that Goad was in the process of leaving as he had been requested to do, in regards to a separate incident earlier in the evening, when Ash began to taunt him (Goad). Ash continued to encourage Goad to fight him, in which Goad returned to the Pit area where a physical altercation occurred. A summons is being requested for Zachary James Allen Ash, age 20, 5090 Whipple Run Road, Whipple, and Ronnie Daniel Goad, age 43, 3065 Lowell Hill Road, Lowell, for disorderly conduct. (115)
On 26 Jun 17 Deputy Black responded to 540 Rummer Road, Marietta, in reference to Kylie Reuterskiold reporting Cory Forshey had assaulted her. While en route to the residence a vehicle matching the description of the defendant’s vehicle, a yellow Chevrolet Monte Carlo, was observed traveling east on SR 676. Deputy Allender conducted a traffic stop at SR 676 and Groves Avenue. Cory Dwain Forshey was the driver of the vehicle. Forshey stated he had engaged in a verbal altercation with Reuterskiold. Forshey denied any physical altercation had taken place. Deputy Black made contact with Reuterskiold who was visibly upset. Reuterskiold stated Forshey arrived at her residence at approximately 0130 hours and they engaged in a verbal argument. Reuterskiold stated Forshey took a pillow and placed it over her face, also placing his hands around her neck and began strangling her. Reuterskiold stated Forshey finally released her and left the residence. Deputy Black observed a necklace Reuterskiold had been wearing broken in pieces on the bed. Reuterskiold also had marks to her neck, consistent with the information she provided. Corey Dwain Forshey, age 25, 815 Bender Road, Marietta, was placed under arrest for assault and transported to the Washington County Jail for processing.

Nikki R. Miller, 627 Front Street, Marietta, failure to appear; original charge breach of recognizance, and failure to appear; original charge driving under suspension.
Riannon L. Croston, 205 ½ Locust Street, Belpre, failure to appear for probation hearing; original charge probation violation.
Mitchell L. Erg, 811 Pioneer Community Road, St. Mary’s, WV, failure to appear for pretrial; original charge possession of drug instruments.
David A. Walker, 2836 Sealy Ridge Road, Vincent, failure to appear; original charge driving under suspension.
Donald R. Gregor, 27335 SR 7, Lot 13, Marietta, failure to appear; original charge OVI
Thomas A. Statkiewicz, LKA 253 Lake Road, Belpre, failure to appear; original charge resisting arrest.
Abele Fissha, LKA 3483 Courtright Lane, Columbus, OH, failure to appear; original charge trafficking in drugs.

Rita Mae Fitzwater, age 52, 9645 State Route 821, Lower Salem, for theft, a misdemeanor. Fitzwater turned herself in at the Washington County Jail and was processed into the Washington County Jail on 26 Jun 17 at 6:21 pm.
Anita Jane Pauley, age 25, 9645 State Route 821, Lower Salem, for theft, a misdemeanor. Pauley was processed into the Washington County Jail on 26 Jun 17 at 7:14 p m.
There are currently 22 females and 75 males incarcerated in the Washington County Jail.
