On 16 Jun 17 Deputy Black responded to Independence Township in reference to a littering complaint.  This case remains under investigation.

On 18 Jun 17 Cody Brian Headlee, 703 Park Street, Beverly, was operating a 2000 Chevy Silverado at Fifth and Ferry Street, Beverly.  Headlee began to move forward through the light behind Ashley Elizabeth Oliver, 5845 Johnson Ridge Road, Waterford, however Oliver had not started moving her 2011 Malibu causing Headlee to strike the rear of Oliver’s vehicle.  This case remains under investigation.  (1104)

On 18 Jun 17 Deputies responded to 1244 Dragstrip Road, Belpre, to an assault complaint.   Dwayne S. Singer, 2050 Roberts Road, Amesville, OH, and Misty R. Mitchell, 1210 Drag Strip Road, Belpre, advised they were at the Dragstrip address this date when Eric Kidder began an argument over a generator. Kidder told Singer and Mitchell to leave the residence and never come back.  Kidder apparently became agitated that they were not leaving fast enough so he picked up a small pipe and swung it at Singer, striking him on the arm.  Singer and Mitchell then left without any further incidents.  Deputies met with Kidder who stated they did have an argument and he did have a handful of pipes in his arms, which he was moving around outside, but denies striking Singer.  Eric Theodore Kidder, age 45, 1244 Drag Strip Road, Belpre, was placed under arrest for domestic violence and assault and transported to the Washington County Jail for processing.

On 18 Jun 17 Deputies responded to Lawton Road, Marietta, in reference to a domestic dispute.  Deputies were advised that  Kenneth Ewing Tilton, age 47, 730 Dixon Ridge Road, Lowell, and his girlfriend were involved in a verbal argument.  Tilton allegedly left the area walking towards Devols Dam Road with a case of beer. Deputies located Tilton along the side of the road and placed him under arrest for disorderly conduct by intoxication, and transported him to the Washington County Jail for processing. While at the jail Tilton tested .228 BAC.  (1104)

On 18 Jun 17 Deputy Zide responded to Newport Township in reference to a report of domestic violence.  Upon speaking with all parties it was determined to be unfounded.  Case closed.

The following suspects were processed into the Washington County Jail between Tuesday 20 Jun 17 and Wednesday 21 Jun 17:

Megan Elizabeth Gilliam, age 29, 4512 North State Route 376 NW, #119, McConnelsville, OH, on a warrant for theft, a misdemeanor.  Gilliam was arrested in Marietta Municipal Court by Patrolman Dennison of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 20 Jun 17 at 12:27 pm.

Jeremy John McFall, age 38, 45710 State Route 260, New Matamoras, for theft/complicity, a misdemeanor.  McFall was arrested in Marietta Municipal Court by Patrolman Dennison of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 20 Jun 17 at 1:07 pm.

Jessica Michelle Hendershot, age 32, 1169 State Route 260, New Matamoras, for probation violation.  Hendershot was arrested by Probation Officer P Brockmeier of the Marietta City Probation Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 20 Jun 17 at 2:36 pm.

Brandon Lee Loy, age 21, 3829 Independence Road, Cleveland, OH, for criminal trespassing, a misdemeanor. Loy was arrested in New Matamoras by Patrolman Smith of the New Matamoras Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 20 Jun 17 at 4:32 pm.

Gabrielle Elizabeth Rhoton, age 21, 2568 Layman Road, Vincent, on warrants for probation violation, FRA suspension and red light violation, all misdemeanors.  Rhoton was arrested by Lt. Norman of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 20 Jun 17 at 5:30 pm.

Everett Lee Crites Jr., age 40, 15225 State Route 60, Lowell, on a warrant for menacing by stalking, a felony.  Crites was arrested by Lt. Hornbeck of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 20 Jun 17 at 8:24 pm.

Michael Dean Brumley, age 43, 60 E. Village, Sullivan, IN, for OVI and prohibited acts of a commercial driver, both misdemeanors.   Brumley was arrested on I77 by Trooper Payne of the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 21 Jun 17 at 12:39 am.

Brandon Lee Carpenter, age 25, 312 Fifth Street, Beverly, for disorderly conduct.  Carpenter was arrested in Beverly by Sgt. Mankins of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 21 Jun 17 at 1:45 am.

Robert Marion McKitrick, age 63, 4597 County Nine Road, Reno, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor.  McKitrick was arrested by Lt. Hornbeck of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 21 Jun 17 at 3:08 am.

Anthony Paul Nicholas, age 68, 515 N. Seventh Street, Marietta, for disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor.  Nicholas was arrested by Patrolman Ritchie of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 21 Jun 17 at 3:40 m.

CORRECTION

Vickie Marie Thompson was arrested on 14 Jun 17 for a probation violation.  Thompson’s address is 503 Eighth Street, Marietta, Ohio.  Thompson’s address was originally incorrect.

There are currently 26 females and 79 males incarcerated in the Washington County Jail.
