On 14 Jun 17 Deputies along with the Little Hocking Volunteer Emergency Squad and Dunham Volunteer Fire Department were dispatched to Braun Road, Dunham Township, in reference to a subject being found face down in a ditch. This case remains under investigation. (799)
On 14 Jun 17 Deputy Schwendeman responded to Oxbow Road, Belpre, to retrieve a gun safe which had possibly fallen from a vehicle. This case remains under investigation.
On 15 Jun 17 at approximately 1811 hrs. Deputies were made aware of a possible location for Chavazze Kidder, who had outstanding warrants for disorderly conduct, theft and aggravated menacing. Deputies arrived at 11540 State Route 339, Vincent, Ohio, and located Kidder inside the residence. Kidder was taken into custody without incident. Kidder advised Deputies, prior to a pat down, that he had a “rig” in his pocket in which he pulled a capped syringe out of his pocket. A spoon was located in a bag belonging to Kidder, which is believed to have had drug residue on it. Chavazze Levi Kidder, age 23, was transported to the Washington County Jail on the above warrants, as well as being charged with possession of drug abuse instruments and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The following suspects were processed into the Washington County Jail between Thursday 15 Jun 17 and Friday 16 Jun 17:
David Allen Richards, Jr., age 23, 21 Rockland Drive, Williamstown, WV, for theft, a felony. Richards was arrested on Interstate 77 by Patrolman Linscott of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 15 Jun 17 at 10:55 am.
James Gordon Lake, age 29, 473 Rockdale Road Real, Follansbee, WV, two counts of failure to appear, fictitious registration, driving under suspension and improper lane change, all misdemeanors. Lake was arrested on Washington Boulevard by Patrolman Tewanger of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 15 Jun 17 at 12:00 pm.
Joshua Leroy Gore, age 29, 130 Cemetary Drive, New Matamoras, for criminal trespass, a misdemeanor. Gore was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Blamble of the New Matamoras Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 15 Jun 17 at 1:45 pm.
Wendi Janelle Mahoney, age 35, 707 Warren Street, Marietta, for assault, a felony and resisting arrest, a misdemeanor. Mahoney was arrested on County Road 9 by Deputy Black of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 15 Jun 17 at 4:44 pm.
Chavazze Levi Kidder, age 23, 11540 State Route 339, Barlow, for drug paraphernalia, drug instruments possession, aggravated menacing, domestic violence and theft, all misdemeanors. Kidder was arrested in Barlow by Deputy Schwendeman of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 15 Jun 17 at 10:09 pm.
Heather Sierra Simms, age 23, 1932 Hamilton Street, Parkersburg, WV, on a warrant for theft, a misdemeanor. Simms was arrested by Patrolman Kampmeier of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 16 Jun 17 at 10:51 am.
Skyler Michael Paul, age 24, 1314 Glendale Road, Marietta, for two counts of theft, both misdemeanors. Paul was arrested by Patrolman McElroy of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 16 Jun 17 at 12:43 pm.
Chase Luther Simmons, age 31, 742 Tuttle Street, Belpre, for theft, a misdemeanor. Simmons was arrested at Dollar General by Patrolman Kampmeier of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 16 Jun 17 at 1:34 pm.
Shaquille Moultry, age 24, 5757 Ponderosa Drive, Columbus, on a warrant for failure to appear, a felony. Moultry was picked up at the Fairfield County Jail by Deputy Malone of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 16 Jun 17 at 2:00 pm.
There are currently 19 female and 74 males incarcerated in the Washington County Jail.
