9 Jun 2025 while on patrol in the 500 block of Virginia Street, Pioneer Township, Deputy Wallace observed a traffic violation and initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle bearing OH registration.  The driver, Jaclyn Grayson, appeared visibly nervous and disheveled.  Grayson also had trouble finding her driver’s license.  Due to Grayson’s nervousness and the inconsistent stories told by Grayson and the passenger, K9 Mauser was deployed.  K9 Mauser indicated on the rear of the vehicle.  Grayson asked Deputy Wallace if her K9 had indicated and she was advised that he had.  Grayson advised that there was a pipe and  methamphetamine in her backpack.  Deputy Wallace located a glass smoking pipe and baggy containing suspected methamphetamine in a bag. The suspected methamphetamine weighed 0.44grams total package weight.  Jaclyn Raquel Grayson, age 33, 812 Clifton Street, Marietta, OH, was placed under arrest and charged with possession of drugs.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail 10 June 2025 and 11 June 2025:

Zachary Richard Mumford, age 40, Parkersburg, WV, theft and obstructing official business, both misdemeanors.

Hunter Dayne Brandt, age 30, Marietta, OH, domestic violence, a misdemeanor.

Dakota Ski Acores, age 31, Marietta, OH, breaking and entering, a felony, and grand theft, a misdemeanor.

Trevor Lee Sorrell, age 31, aggravated possession of drugs, a felony.

There are currently 20 women and 102 men incarcerated in the Washington County Jail.
